I’m glad I held off on this EA4. I would like to get one, but not until they address the rattle and bezel issue. If I wanted a shake light, I would have bought one at Walmart.
Seems guys that have bought several NiteCore in the past had a lot of issues with them. Seems like they still have them.
I know most are happy with their New EA4’s…but I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any more first runs of any lights in the future. First runs most always have minor glitches and some even worse.
Sad to say it has nothing to do with the batteries. I removed the batteries and tailcap, it still rattles. When bothers me the most, is the misaligned bezel. I'm still waiting for a response from Craig (Illumination Supply)
Like I said, poor quality control. I wont be buying another Nitecore anytime soon. Unless of course, they take care of my problem. I'm not feeling good about this right now.
Now Rick that shake light that they had at WalMart for like $5 was said to be funny. The rest was not. I told you that about NiteCore before you bought this one. Their quality control has been said not to be the best. A lot of guys won’t even buy Nite Core anymore due to the fact that every one they had seem to have quality isssues. And apparently NiteCore was slow to address or fix the issues. Seems that NiteCore is still having issues.
Like I told Glenn on the phone earlier today, I would like to have one, but I would like one without these issues.
yeah, i recall the tiny monster had issues, then they revised the driver several times… and something was going around cpf about the tm15 emitters glowing slightly unless the light was locked out
i feel that with a lot of production lights there is a bit of a lottery if you will get slight imperfections and or crap tint etc.
i have had good luck with some, and bad with others
