I see said the blind man :)

yeah, i recall the tiny monster had issues, then they revised the driver several times… and something was going around cpf about the tm15 emitters glowing slightly unless the light was locked out

i feel that with a lot of production lights there is a bit of a lottery if you will get slight imperfections and or crap tint etc.

i have had good luck with some, and bad with others

Hi Brad

My EA4 is as good in the quality department as my L3 K40. For $60 you won’t get hurt to bad even if you get a bad one.

Care to share a picture of your bezel?

Does yours do the Cha-Cha-Cha like some of the others here? LOL!

The bezel doesn’t bother me at all. Mine has no rattle in it.

!!

That one looks good.

Thanks.

You bet

Who did you buy yours from?

Illumination Supply

They have the NW back in stock.

These are close to what you would see in reality. Maybe just a tiny bit overexposed. The distance is 30 yards.

Bruce

EA4 Cool White

G5 Maelstrom

What’s the camera settings on those beamshots if I can ask?

These are the settings Brad.

!!

Hey thanks.

No problem. Are those settings in the ballpark ?

Is that manual or auto exposure? It doesn’t say.

I like using this link to check camera info. But I couldn’t check yours.

Example

I had the camera set on manual.

Here’s a link to a review on the camera. Olympus E-PL1 Review: Digital Photography Review

I contacted Craig from Illumination Supply. He's sending me a replacement EA4! He's going to make sure the bezel is square to the body, and hopefully no rattle.

Dunno mate. I think they all have protruding vessels as the one I sold was the same. Rattle varies, i know that much. let us know if you get one with a flush bezel please!
