another good trick is to use the bottom of your shoe - the rubber bottom grips the bezels without damaging them.

Mine has the rattle issue, the bezel has no problem, it has an even gap.
I have it from Illumination Supply.
Craig said it may be a loose screw inside.
What is the proper tool to unscrew the bezel?
I have tried shoe rubber, not worked for me.
My NW rattles to beat hell, the CW has no rattle at all.

I took apart a few EA4s which have the rattling problem.
The culprit is the white delrin ring
I’m not entirely sure as to the purpose of the ring (other than to fill up the empty space in the light, but some are ever so slightly thinner than others, and cause the rattle. This does not change the reliability of the light at all.

whats it, go around the bottom part of the reflector to keep it centered?
whats it, go around the bottom part of the reflector to keep it centered?
yes, it’s right below the reflector. However, due to the size of the reflector keeping the reflector in place
and the centering ring around the LED, this seems like a bit of overengineering on Nitecore’s part.
which bit them in the backside, lol.

Good to know it's not going to cause problems down the road. Now if they can just screw the damn bezel on straight, I'd be tickled pink. lol!
Hi Craig
How much extra run time would the 2700mah powerex offer vs the 2000mah eneloop ?
Thanks Bruce

Is rattle demon free. Hope that those who do have the rattle can resolve the issue.
Looks like the rattle can easily be fixed with a couple of small dabs of silicone sealer

I know exactly what you mean, when I tracked my PD32UE today and saw that it was coming I kept watching the clock waiting to hear the sound of the mailman… It’s always nice when you have orders coming it gives you something to look forward to!!
Thanks you all for the findings about the rattle issue,
I do not mind to open it, because it is clear that is nothing to do with performance and may not cause a problem in future.
Got my replacement today! The bezel has an even gap now. Am I happy? YES!!!!!!! Thanks Craig!!!!!!

Cool, great news. When I took mine apart and put back together the bezel is even all the way around. Does yours still rattle?
