Ads on BLF???

Oh I was trying to right click on the ad itself.

As this is the first time since then it has come up, it seems to be a rare occurrence isolated to my computer.

Rare, but not isolated (I’m sure a few of us have hit it and just ignored it).

I had this problem only under firefox (not IE or Chrome) and it didn’t load when I had firebug active.

Bingo. It’s not BLF. It looks like its HKJ adding some javascript to his posts.

Ok, PPTK got it! It showed up on both of those pages. So HKJ, what gives? I wonder whether he is earning money from the ads he posts...

I’d never noticed the ad’s before, but you are right - they appear on the two linked threads. I’m using Windows 7 & Firefox 17.0.1

Ok, so HKJ is putting ads on BLF with out Mr. Admin's permission. Are we sure that it is him and no one else? (Don't want to start a witch hunt unless we're sure)

Absolutely not sure. don’t have access to the BLF database

That said, I have not found any examples that were not HKJ.

suggest you run a (Select * FROM [PostContentTable] WHERE [POST_TEXT] LIKE ‘javascript’)

obviously, replacing [PostContentTable] with the table name that holds the actual posts and [POST_TEXT] with the column that holds the text of the posts
