Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

I have also roughly that size, 6,5” maybe, not sure.

Anyway, it means that I´ll have to keep an eye open for watches at 42mm MAX, preferred size is somewhere around 37-40mm depending on how large they wear.

Really is a bit of a pain, 7+” wrist would make much more models available to choose from

6.25" is tight around wrist with soft tape measure. My current watch band is 17cm (~6.5") and is just the way I like it.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to get small "manly" watch :D

Ok, I know I'm crazy so you don't have to say it. Here's my Invicta on my 7 3/4" wrist. lol!

Glenn,
Love the first watch!! The other 2 are nice also!!

Mine is 7.5 inches

+1 very nice!!

I have a basic Timex windup watch that I bought in Basic Training in Georgia. I think I paid around $12 for it. This would have been just about twenty five years ago. It would take me a while to even remember all the countries that watch has been to with me.

Timex takes a licking and keeps on ticking.

yeah, i like that one alot too… just what i need, another hobby lol

Of course, I discovered the Seiko Monster in a flashlight picture forum

Thanks buddy :)

Although I only have a 28 yo Casio G-shock for my 7 inch wrist, wish I had a Panerai Ergiziano Pam341 like Arnie and Sly wear; 60mm for an 8 incher! Maybe I’ll try for a replica?

I'm thinking about getting a U-Boat Flight Deck replica. The originals go for around $2700. The replica sells for $158.50. Any thoughts?

Hmm, I think I would skip the replica.

What I have been reading ( for example watchguy.co.uk ), they usually keep time just fine, look pretty good outside and yet don't cost that much but some issues may appear.

They usually have pretty decent chinese movement in them but assembling may be good or bad.

For smaller amount of cash, I would get for example a Parnis, homage of that U-Boat.

For what I understand about these, you probably get a watch with similar movement quality but skip the legal issues.

There should be more accurate look-a-like in the market, or at least there has been but cannot find it ATM :(

No idea about pricetag but these look similar : http://haemmer-germany.com/kollektion/gents

I have put the trusty old Vostok on rest for a bit while I switch between the two new kids on the block.

They can be found in large numbers also from ’bay:

Lots of military / panerai style watches.

Here, similar but this is Quartz (not sure if you seek a mechanical one?)

CheapThrills, thanks for the links. But I like the U-Boat style much better. I'll have to do some research. I'll probably end up not buying anything if I find any questionable issues on these. The Parnis's do look nice though.

WOW! This one will work. Thanks!

…just one more for Glenn, then I shut up :zipper_mouth_face:

If you can live with the price and the looks of this rings the bell, this would be a step up in the quality comparing to homages and replicas.
Sea-Gull is a no-nonsense watch company from China.
Many cheap watch brands use their movements but Sea-Gull uses only the best ones for their own watches.
Got two movements (ST2130) ticking and they perform very well.
They do not make very exact homages of any watch but they do have several models, that I’m interested of, a bit of classic look in them (not in this, though  )

Well the seller you recommended has decent feedback. Here's one example

Having a peace of ming is VERY important, don't you agree? lol!!!

Hehe, did not check the feedbacks on those sellers

I have only dealt with “trusthonestman” and he has very fast eMail response and delivery.
I have never read a bad comment about his sales from WUS.
