I kinda like the host. No mention of drive current. Could be a nice light at that price if the quality is decent. Looks to be from the pics - nice thick walls on the battery tube and the weight seems good for the size. Also, the 57mm head would accommodate ~27mm reflectors if put side by side which would be like having 2 x P60 pills next to each other. Two XMLs driven at 2.8A each would have pretty good output and nice combination of throw/spill.

I can't quite tell from the pictures, but it looks like the reflector/pill may be well heat sunk if it makes good thermal contact with the head. If it's another one of those "floating head" designs, I would pass.

A lot of these companies could learn from DX and post all the info they can get. Not that you can rely 100% on any of them but at least DX gives a little better description.

This would have been nicer with a 26650 option as well.

Looking at the tube diameter, it could be a 26650 tbh.

The walls of the tube seem to be very thick though, so probably 18650-only.

Yeah, a 26650 would definately be nice, especially if you drive this thing around 3A each.

I basically use the same setup for well over a year, the combination of two different reflectors, one with throw, one with flood is pretty amazing!

Agreed - but many of these vendors a "fly-by-the-night" operations that may be gone in 6 months and, being a distributor as opposed to manufacturer, they may not understand the details of the products, only providing information based on what is given to them.

Nevertheless, I am intrigued by this light and have been doing more comparisons with well known lights. I am very tempted by the shear weight alone, as it is considerably heavier than other lights of similar size like this one and this one. Weight wise, it seems to be comparable the UF-T60 light which has been "Foyapproved" here and also available for the cheaper at DX here. But, being a vendor I am not familiar with makes me hesitant. Perhaps it will show up on some of our better known suppliers' sites. Either way, thanks for the heads up!

At 27 mm thick, it could conceivable be bored out to fit 25500 cells. A 26650 could be possible, but would leave only 0.5mm thick walls.

The side by side design reminds of the the Klarus XT20. Each head is 28mm, not much bigger than the 2x Cree XML-L T6

You’re Welcome.

I have this one on the way.

Then I say this one a day or so after I ordered from Manafont.

I do like the thought of the 2XT6 though. I saw a similar one but it had two tail clickies. I can’t remember where though.

So you ordered the same light from 2 different vendors? The aHappyDeal price is better if shipping is free.

Good luck!

No I just saw the cheaper one after, I didn’t buy it.

Oh - I misunderstood. Happens to me all the time: Search for best price -> finally make purchase -> find cheaper somewhere else.

Just couldn't resist - taking "one for the team"!

Placed order and waiting for email confirmation of total (should be same since shipping is free) before paying.

Cool, I hope you will let us know how it goes. Both the light and the site.

That’s a hefty looking body tube, I like it 8)

Absolutely!

Just got final price quote. Shipping is extra $10, so that brings total to $40.65. It seems less like a deal, especially for an unknown light. I think I'll sleep on this...

I can’t say I blame you $10 for shipping is pretty high for most places now.

Maybe I can entice them to give me a better deal by telling them about our "little" community and how crazy we are about flashlights!
