Iām gonna go with the Zebralight based on quality of construction. Gotta love mkett39ās tests.
UF-t50 gonna getāer done
I will take a risk and call it UF-T50 since I have had one failed H51 but 0 failed UFĀ“s so far 8)
If I should foresee something, I would say that ZLĀ“s driver gives up.
Li-ions don't leak, they just explode. :P
Just remember we need a video of the actual explosion or it didn't happen.
Well, if either of the lights make it to the third round, then mkett39 should take care of them for good. Running over a thin wall light with a tractor trailer should render the light a total loss. Thereās a difference between a repair and trash can. I know the difference and I will doing the final disposition. If they are salvageable, then they will be fixed as good as possible, but if the lights have been mashed out of shape or flat as a pancake, they will see the pit of never ending darkness (thatās what I threaten my flashlights with, when they donāt want to cooperate). If at any time the batteries in these lights melt down, blow up or leak all over, then donāt bother to send them on to me. I wonāt touch a Li-ion if it has leaked into the light. Sorry, but Lithium leakage is something I will not play with. Other than that, I will do my very best if there is anything left to salvage.
Of course, the idea is to push and test these, not doom them to the pit of never ending darkness. Before this thread even went up, mkett39 suggested running them over on a surface that has some give Hereās an example of that with a steamroller: http://youtu.be/km_rodQCs2M?t=1m17s Trust us
Ultrafire for meā¦Mine feels a good solid light and i reckon it should last well
Shadow Update:
Tests performed so far: bury in snowbank overnight, leave lit underwater in basement sump for one hour, wash with laundry in washing machine twice, on heavy cycle both times, dry in dryer for 40 minutes, bake in oven at 200 degrees F for one hour. Both lights survived but one clearly did better than the other ā so far, that is! But which one?
Remaining tests: freeze overnight (lit) in blocks of ice, defrost and boil with eggs for breakfast. Then off to scaru!
Stay tuned ā details and pictures will be posted just after the giveaway closes, probably on Friday.

Iām assuming you will take the battery out, but itās still dangerous. The flashlight is basically a sealed container, with no way to let air escape. When you reach boiling temperatures, the cylinder may vent violently (small explosion) sending boiling water everywhere.
Just a friendly warning. Iāve been scalded by boiling water beforeā¦ not fun.

Roger that.
Wow! Sounds like they have already endured a heavy amount of abuse! Canāt wait to see the results and photos!!!
Bandwagonner here. Zebralight is my go!
Zebralight SC600 will win. Thanks a lot ! ! !
I though scaru was the resident expert on washing machine and drier tests?
Tallied up votes so far:
Zebralight SC600: 58 votes
Ultrafire T-50: 39 votes
Still pretty close.
TheShadowā¦run them hot then drop them into a bucket of cold water. If they remain watertight Iād be truly impressed with either.
After liberating them from solid blocks of ice from being frozen overnight I boiled them with two eggs, then dumped the boiling water out and immediately filled the pot with cold water. Plenty of pics to follow after the giveaway closes.
My tests are done and have mailed to scaru. Have some jaw dropping pics to post once this closes.

You know you really are a nut case, donāt you.
I think you should have done all of these tests while holding the two lights.
The tests so far would kill the average human being, so if the flashlight owner is dead, who cares about the light itself? LOL.
I just got to play wid ya a little bit. Time to go clean up the O-L workshop and prepare for for the incoming patients. Let's see, I will need two hospital beds, plenty of bandages, some more pills (for me).
Iāll vote for the zebralight.
I own an SC600W. Seems to be a very sturdy light except I think the switch may be a weak point.
Edit: sorry, looks like I didnāt join the forum soon enough. Still interested in the outcome of this though.

Welcome to the family, 85coke! Aside from your SC600W, what other torches are you into?
