Shadow SC600 vs UF-T50 -- Winners Announced -- The Lights Are Done!!!!!!!

No trick of light; it came off during the boiling.

no surprise the zlt for the win! lol…

Cool results,I am surprised the Ultrafire is still alive!I think use of quality materials will definitely show in the next set of tests, the UF reflector already peeled so I think that's a sign that I picked right. You would think water ingress would have finished it off but it didn't,round 2!!!

I will not say I'm surprised that the ZL held up better so far. I expected it would. The real test will be during the impact and shock trials. I think the heavier and probably softer alloy of the T50 body will give it the edge in the next series of trials.

excellent. my victims are one step closer >)

thats great haha… two frozen blocks with lights still going. im surprised either passed the frozen block test.

if the other testing participants didn’t delineate tests for scaru, i’m predicting certain death for at least one, and maybe both in round two!

that guy’s twisted :davie:

Looks like I "bet" on the dark horse ...... but the contest isn't over yet ...

Both are bruised, but functional. I can't believe it.

The Executioners are having TOO much fun.

Thanks for the "update" photo's ..... suspense is killing me.

This is a very unique idea and loads of FUN

Better make a call to the Doctor, (Doctor of Illumination = O-L), make sure the ER is prepped and ready to go.

Do we know what the weight (Pre-Torture, less battery) of each light ?

Thickness of O-Rings ? The T50 has a sprung a leak.

I also like this one. Full of water except for a small air bubble and the LED’s still putting out.

yeah, thats another epic pic. but a quick 1 hour baking at 200 degrees takes care of the moisture left in it :stuck_out_tongue:

I thought the oven heat tests might actually affect any of the silicon/rubber gaskets and even melt some. But apparently not. Am I missing something here?

200f is just over 93c. ive noticed that a lot of electronics spec are 90c, but usually can handle more. the gaskets i would think would handle atleast what water boils at, 212f/100c, and probably quite a bit more than that

Wow, 200F but still 93C! I can rem my son having a 104F fever and he was like burning up or was that my paternal instinct? 200F might even dry up some of the lube that was on those threads and gaskets. Those extreme tests on the 2 lights are really pushing them beyond normal usage patterns. This is amazingly like NASA experiments!

yeah, my daughter was just above 103 the other night, and her brother was up over 102 a couple days before that… she felt like she was on fire

those are def some extreme tests… im wondering if there is any light that would stand up to those without the slightest fail… surefire dominator test anyone??? :money_mouth_face:

Dang, I was pulling for the underdog but it ain’t over quite yet. The heavy duty tests are still coming.

I’m surprised both lights still work. Thanks The Shadow.

That’s a great pic!

Thank you for the great pics. Go on Zebra - stay well and beat the UF

Awesome tests I feel like I’ve won just watching this post.
