GB: 20mm Sinkpad copper boards CLOSED

4x XM-L, 1x XP-G, bubble mailer.

If we can get the price break for >300 boards I’m in for a few more.

6 XM-L boards, bubble mailer, US

thanks again for sorting this out! I’ll post it on the mtbr light forum, see if we get any more takers…

More the better  2nd post updated

I’m in for 10 XM-L boards
I’m in for 10 XP-G / XP-G2 as well…thrower projects
Toronto, Ontario bubble pack, cheapest way that gets them over that imaginary line between us
Edit: doubled my quantities, I’m confident we’ll get over 300!

Can’t hurt to ask  but I think that’s all they have

If we wanted those we have to pay $1500+ and make a design for them and we will get around 300-500 boards at that price that will be expensive

Only how I know is because I asked for 16mm boards and they said it will have to be custome made

Put me down for 5 XM-Ls with a bubble package. :D

@nitro&relic: I think you guys are a little confused? relic asked about XPG and XPG2 and nitro posted in the OP that we can get XML and XPG.

Yup, thx, I went back and read it again.

Is anyone interested in selling these boards with chips installed onto them (i am not able to do it myself)

I’m just getting what they have made and in stock

If u need something they don’t have the price starts out at $1500

That might lead out to be 3-5 bucks a board :frowning:

Bort I can do it if u order the led or I can order it an reflow it to the board ??

im hoping the cooktop method works decent enough for me…

i may have to grab a couple xpg as well… i got to wait and see though.

Hey guys I just sent a msg to the company and I asked if they had boards for the xpg2 and this is what he said

Board footprint remains same for XPG and XPG2. LED footprint is exactly same. Same PCB you can use for XTE also.

+1. :P

We pretty much knew that.. XPE and XPC would also work.

So available are 20mm boards for XM or XP footprint.

I’ll go for 12 XML and 5 XPG

Can you ask about SST-90 pads?

I’m in for 6 xml at $2.5. If cheaper I’ll order more.

Put me down for 10 XM-L Bubble Mailer.

Does anyone know if different reflow solders have better or worse heat transfer characteristics?

no idea, but I’ve had several people recommend using solder paste as it makes it easier to get reproducible results (same thickness, no excess, etc). No idea personally, but might be worth checking out.

I think it’s also what the peeps at Cutter used in this video:
