Trustfire X6. . . Champagne on a beer budget.

Hey Dale, nice beam shot. I find it interesting on shots like this that show a slight separation in the beam, then gradually one tight beam. I am assuming that is the beam divergence that we hear about and why throwers need some distance to get their highest readings. I’ve seen that on many other thrower beamshots. I guess it could be an illusion too.
How many amps are these X6’s driven at? I think I’ve heard like 6amps or so?

TBH…. I honestly don’t know. I’ve heard the same thing. 6 amps. Scaru, could prolly answer better…

The X6 is built like a tank!! Thanks again to scaru for the easy step by step de-doming pictorial made this a whole new light.

Great picture Dale!!

Thanks!

The X6 looks so beastly!!! Nice one Dale…

Looks like a medievel mace!

Yes it does. I would hate to be hit with it!!

Dedomed?? To my eyes, the dome is still there... see the reflection and the die looking like under a magnifing lens (bulges the flat sides)

What's up?

I wish they’d make that w/ 4x18650 parallel body

but if they don’t, i’ll own it one day (though I think 26650 version is worth an extra 10 or 15 bucks).

AHA! GOOD EYE! You sir are exctly right… Posted wrong picture…
This is the right one…

Nice light you have there!

Thanks Rock

Who? Link?

having fun with this thing lately, huh? lol

Being the first one I purchased. I go out and just throw the beam around at night. Lots of fun… Looks like a light saber…

I wish there were some modding guides for this light. I have one on the way and I cant find anything that shows how to de-dome, remove/mod the driver, etc :frowning:
