I have found the Perfect light I was looking for.

I received my Yezl S7 today and it is absolutely the perfect AAA light for me that I was looking for. Has the H-M-L with a clicky with GITD O rings with a R5 and no strobes. The memory function is nice and simple.

I use my eneloops along with 10440's and LifePo4 AAA and BRIGHT!!. This light is absolutely beautiful all around and excellent quality indeed, and as a added bonus they have a extra XPG-R5 emitter and the round electronic drive board I believe that's what they are called in 2 small seperate zip-loc baggies.

The Trustfire F23 on which this light is based is also a very nice light. I expect that this Yezl which is more limited by the cell than the AA version is a better light - there is just too much heat from the S5 to make stainless steel a sensible material.

Don,

Hi, so far as the heat goes I did not feel any decernable warmth at all. I was trying all 3 types of batterys mentioned above, but I will not use this as a EDC but just to have it as my "Trophy" light. BTY when I received my Tank 007 it was DOA so DX maned up and sent a replacement.

That's great - the limitations of the AAA size probably help here.

Do you know how much current it is drawing? I'd be interested to know.

Sounds like a nice little light to put on my wishlist..

Don,

I will find out for you for you concerning that since I don't have said equipment.

Don,

It's 370mA on hi.

With NiMH? thats nice and gentle! Probably giving 1-1.3 hours runtime on AA NiMH. Probably 100mA at the emitter?

Wish I could find the perfect light! Actually I don't because then I would stop buying. Maybe? Nah...

Thanks for that. Sounds like an entirely sensible current given the limited heat sinking ability of stainless steel.
