Thank you WALLBUYS!!

I won't make any promises! I have no idea when I'll get around to testing it out. The a/c connector would need changed over as it's some sort of mini 220v plug (I've never seen one of these before). I'd also like to take a peek inside and check everything out prior to firing it up. Oh, and I took a gamble and ordered two more floodlights in the last promo.

ok garry… hopefully mine will be here soon. whats up with i4 charger v2, is it the latest ? or is there a better version out there.

It's the latest version. There were some issues with the first version which were improved.

Hi, it’s the small sun ……13.
Forgot the full name.

ZY-T13, I got one and it is pretty nice.

I got a slip in my mailbox. Have to go get my package in the morning. I ordered a Small Sun TY-13 as well and I am excited to get it. I also got a Fenix headlamp, Jetbeam BA-10 and some items I can’t even remember. Will be a nice surprise in the morning.

I placed three separate orders so I hope they sent them all at once so I don’t have to make three trips to the post office.

i think it was UK plug. i bought two at the christmas sale, and then when i saw that they cost $23 at fasttech, i ordered three more at the new years promotion.

The power plug is funny and the earth ground isn’t attached on lamp…watch out!
I tested it with some flying cable for about 20 hours, it worked flawlessly.
It’s not so bright because of the massive flood, but I like it especially for 6$.

There is a small 3x3W driver in it.
Before installing this I recommend to work over the earth issue(this is illegal here not sure which electrically security you have overseas) and if you plan to use it outside you have to seal it up manually with some silicone.

I am not sure what I should do with it, but it is good to have.

Yep, I expected the ground problem as read on a DX review on a similar light. Thanks for the feedback. How's the tint?

Still waiting on my Christmas order…. :frowning:

Still waiting on 2 of my orders, and the one order that arrived hasn't updated on the tracking...

Tint is as advertised cool white, blueish.
The front glass is very heavy and thicker as I thought.
Led is hold in place with reflector(only mounted with 2 screws) and mounted with lots of thermal grease on the backside. Quite good heatsinking, so it doesn’t get really hot.

On the more expensive ones they sell here everything is sealed up better, the whole circuit is filled with lots of silicone water tight and every wire has additional shrinking tube when it goes trough holes. But you get what you pay for…

Do you have a residual current sensor in every home in the US?

Anyone ordered the RGB version?

I got my order accepted on the 10th, sent out on the 12th and it should be here in NY custom’s now on the 16th. Who knows how long it takes from now, it’s up to USPS to determine/customs. Last order I got came in during sandy and it took over a week to process; hopefully it’s going to be a bit quicker now.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

The tint looked pretty neutral on the product page, but I expected the cool white due to the color temp listed.

I have read a bit on us based sites and it seems that you call it often: ground fault condition interrupter (GFCI) instead of residual current detector(RSD) which is the word they use in datasheets. So I can answer myself, it seems that you have these as well.
RSD wiki for the curious

It’s definitely more cool than on their picture.
If you need warmer tint there are similar 10W warm white LEDs on fasttech for 3.xx$ which are really nice, I have put one in a desk lamp prototype.
Wow I am still happy that we got these goods so cheap. And in the next days there are coming more

Does anybody here let them speak now or forever hold their peace, know when I am going to get my order? I’m starting to think I will get it maybe one day. But each day goes by and I just keep getting older. I keep thinking maybe I’ll get it today. Oh well. So much for wishful thinking. I may be an old man before it gets here.

I am with you, I have added your tracking number in my App so I see if it moves…
But relax it left HK just on 11th

Yea and don’t forget that they celebrated a 3 day holiday there, too. So out of the other 14 days of those 17 days they finally got it on its way. Talk about fast. Move over Speedy Gonzales. Arriba, Arriba! Andale! Now 17 days more to ship it here.

what model is that small sun?
