There is a really low output with a current draw of 10mA (probably around 2 lumens) which I sometimes get by fiddling with the switch however, this is not a mode option that can be chosen at any given time.

On my driver to select the really low output, if the light is in the high, medium, low, mode, put the light on low, after it flashes 3 times quickly turn the light on and off fast and it will be in really low mode.

That sounds like the start of ramping mode, the low is real real low. This is what I like, I can go from sleeping child friendly to eye seering, lock in the brightness I want, and it’d there through battery changes, till I decide to change it, it really is awesome. 8)

No, on mine its definitely a separate low low mode. its lower than any other low and you can turn it on and of as many times as you like and it stays in this mode until you want to change it.

MRsDNF. You actually get it on the low, low every time you try the trick? I haven’t been able to find a consistent way to get to that mode except by fiddling with the switch (from any output). With my T5 LED, the output is just about 3 lumens.

If I'm quick enough after the three flashes on low or maybe gords is right. It may be the start of ramping low?

It’s not the start of ramping. When I get home, I’ll try your method and see if it works every time. That’ll be great!!

I’m highly tempted to buy this driver for my CQG extreme runtime host, but the PWM is bothering me… Has anyone measured the PWM frequency?

The, I’ll try and measure it when I get home, based on looking at 1250rpm fan, its pretty high though.

the There is deffinite PWM that is slower than that of the nanjg drivers but, it’s not so bad that I constantly notice it. If the host has space would adding a capacitor to the output be an option for you?

I’ve lost my low, low mode:(( Ok. so I changed hosts from a 2D mag to a 3C mag and I’ve been unable to find that low, low mode MRsDNF also discovered. so sad.

Hi the I couldn’t get a frequency reading at the star sorry, it is quite high though, if I get chance today or tomorrow I’ll see if I can video a fan under the light if that helps?

Is this a regulated driver? Has it the standard current sensing resistor?
And finally can it be modded for higher current?

You can get a 5a version if you need it. Its not direct drive I’m sure of that. Not sure what you mean by “standard current sensing resistor” I’ve seen a few different set ups and I’m green on all this.

I mean the standard mod on a regulated driver is to reduce the current sensing resistor, so that it provides more current.
I want a 9A Version….but i guess the thermal shutdown will prohibit this…

I’m also interested in what your building now? Parallel xm-l tripple on one cell?

what is ramping?
did it fit into your m10 and how does it compare to the 105c?

In Ramping mode, the light starts out at the lowest brightness level then gets brighter and brighter in small steps until it reaches medium output (50%) blinks twice, continues getting brighter in small steps until it reaches maximum ouput and blinks again before restarting at the lowest output. Whatever brighness level you want, tap the tailswitch to quickly turn off then on the light. Sorry, I can’t tell you for sure if it will fit in the M10 but my guess is yes. Others may have tried fitting it so may chime in here.
