Flashlight Photography -an artistic approach!

Thank you guys!
I mainly use a Nikon D7000 and occasionally a Nikon D5000 but the difference is made all by the lens.
I have a couple of Nikon macro lenses which are ideal for macro/close up photography.

!!

Wow, i saw your collection at flickr and i can say that i am really impressed!!
Not only you own the skill/technique but you have the ‘eye’ of a photographer. This is a charisma!

I am new to dSLR photography and the main reason for entering the field was macro/closeup photography. My flashlights could not escape from being my macro victims!

I will keep them coming, thanks

!!

Very impressive thanks for sharing!

It is really my pleasure, thank you flashlight man!

I shoot with an older Canon DLSR, but none of that matters much anymore anyway. Any DLSR made in the last 5-6 years will take excellent photos. I like the idea of photographing flashlights in an artistic way; it ties two hobbies together. Let’s see what I can shoot…

Here’s some I just threw together in my light box. Didn’t spend a lot of time tweaking the lights or editing. Basically just messing around. They came out OK I guess.
Enjoy.

Now I just need more lights to shoot

Exactly this!! We tie two hobbies together, it can’t be much better than that!! Thanks alot for contributing, this is the idea, …Canon guy

Nice quality pictures ;)!

Thanks for posting - these are wonderful pictures! Someday (maybe when I retire) I would like to take up photography as a hobby.

Merci guys, i am really glad you like them! BetweenRides, i hope you do that when time comes. It is so rewarding!

is that yours? those things are crazy expensive

Yes sir, it’s mine. Whatever i shoot and post here is mine.

This Victorinox giant, actually a collector’s item, i managed to buy it before the crisis… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m not sure that Victorinox qualifies as a pocket knife anymore :-).
