New items at solarforce-sales L2 DIY

Just saw new items at solarforce http://www.solarforce-sales.com/product_detail.php?id=201&s=41&t=LF

820 lumens from a single Cr123?

Oooooookay...

I think I actually saw this a while ago with a different drop-in. In the interest of battery life, I wonder how hard that XM-L is driven.

sigh,iwantthistoonowFoy

The host is nice but I wouldnt use it, as is unless its with an IMR cell (depending on how hard theyre driving it). Ive been looking for a 3p clone thats bored to fit 18mm to make use of my 18350s. 18350 + Manafont XML = pocket rocket goodness. Does anyone know if these L2m's fit 18xxx cells?

What are Solarforce boring the bodies too ..

The 18mm L2M came with a CR123A extension ...

So are all L2m 's now 18mm or only those that came with the CR123A extension ???

The Mini DIY light Consist of:

1. Solarforce B6 Premium Grade SS flat bezel Head for Surefire 6P 9P G2 & L2 series

2. Solarforce CR123A 16340 x 1pc Battery Tube

3. Solarforce XM-L T6 Cree 820 Lumens 3-6V Replacement bulb for Surefire 6P G2 & L2 series

4. Solarforce S7 Tactical switch for Surefire 6P 9P , Solarforce flashlight

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So it's a DIY because you have to screw in the bezel yourself, screw in the battery tube and put in the battery yourself, put in the xml dropin yourself, and screw in the switch yourself ???

I dunno guys? That's a lot of stuff to put together.

Agree, and that will require a 500 page operating manual

The L2M I got recently is 18mm. But the S7 switch is a good candidate for conversion to mcclicky.

im a bit surprised that it does'nt have the solarforce name and L2M on the side where it usually goes. makes me think maybe these are factory seconds or extras that they just found. im assuming that these are 16mm bodies. ill go ask theyre usually good at answering emAILS
