Look at it this way. Perhaps they got a better wholesale deal between then and now and decided to pass that along to the customer. I’m certainly ok w/that.

Seriously though…pick your battles. Lower prices is a GOOD thing! Positive feedback and sales ensure more of them in the future. If you don’t like their form of sales promotion, give them constructive feedback (FYI…bitching is not constructive) on how they can improve…or…don’t participate. Pretty simple, really.

Hopefully they will have more of these sales…I have cleaned up and it has enabled me to become a novice in flashlight collecting. Wait…maybe that’s a bad thing…looking at my thinned-out wallet, that is :bigsmile:

And yeah… Was almost happy the sky-ray king was out of stock. Sometime super low prices are just to tempting to say no too.
They made 5 (+?) customers very happy. And well, I saved myself 31,70$. Nothing to complain about… Im almost happy I missed out on the deal… lol…
Wallbuy had a promotion, and what did we learn. The common stuff, insanely good deals go out fast. Better check in on their page and promotions from time to time if they continue with that stuff and you want some great deals…

Ok i was pissed now im over it and ordered more from them! Maybe pissed was a little strong! I usually dont spend that much on lights, I want the best deal and had been emailing them trying to get the best price. I understand that they get better deals. Oh well im over it.

This is kinda starts to smell “funny” to me, or should I say stink!
It looks like they are trying to sale as much they can and I suspect that some people will never see their goods.
Maybe in couple of weeks another “CRAZY” “BIG” sale will be promoted with even lower prices than this time!!!

The funniest thing is that always people are complaining about something, saying that its a scam or still to expensive and so on.
But what I can say: I got a whole bunch of things for half the price…and some other things for a very good price.
If you are a scary cat than don’t buy, but shut up flaming around for nothing.

This 3$ xtar18700 are very nice for my 13$ ZY-t13, I can charge them in my 10$ WP2 while I am playing with my 5$ floodlight. :party:

I actually waited this time to buy that floodlight, even at $8.40 it’s still cheapest anywhere. But there I was reading something else and realized it was 3minutes after midnight. And just my luck, the floodlight was all gone by then. 3 MINUTES!

Hope the Feb 7 sale will have that item again. Darn it, this is the third time I missed it.

Placed an order right after the sale started. PayPal charge was processed. Haven’t heard anything from Wallbuys about the order… Is this normal? How long does it take to get an order confirmation? Can’t check order status without a number.

You won't see an email. You need to log into your account and look for "orders" and find the order number listed there. Then use "track order" link at upper right of page with the order # you just found.

Hi Garry, Thanks for your help. I checked my account but there is no order number listed. I think the problem is that I put the items in my cart and went right to “Pay with PayPal.” I wasn’t logged in to my Wallbuys account when I placed the order. I guess I’ll have to contact them to get my order number.

It’s an easy thing to do because 99.9% of the time when you place an order online, the seller requires you to either log in to your account or open a new account before you can check out.

I'm still wait'n on my xmas order - says it's still in HK. They have been responsive though to me - their site is flaky - the Order List doesn't work anymore, for me at least.

Don't believe the tracking, all of my packages are still in HK yet one has already been delivered.

At this price they are still earning profit. Compare this price with taobao.com and you can see they are 20-30% higher.

I think they are positioning themselves as a low cost leader with little aftersales service

Did you go through the “check out” and then choose to pay by PayPal? If that’s the case, at least you should have received an email from PayPal. Does the PayPal email state you made a payment to Wallybuy? Does the PayPal email list the items you ordered? Is your email address with PayPal the same as the one in your account with Wallybuy?

I ordered the HL21 headlight, and got an email from Wallbuys with the order number. Later I noticed they also had the diffusers, so bought a couple of those too, and got another acknowledgment. I then emailed Cherry to ask if the two orders could be shipped together (seems a little wasteful shipping a $2.22 order), and got a reply this morning saying they would be. I’m a happy bunny …. again.

Well, got my order number from Cherry…all is well. Now the waiting :slight_smile:
