I warned everyone not to run their lights completely dead… I’ve had several more people call lately and ask ” hey, can you get me one of those lights like you got so and so” of course I’m going too because i just like doing it… not really trying to make a profit… I do get a kick out of everyone playing with the strobe function(which I hate) but to a bunch of rednecks who have never experienced a bright light it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread!!! lol
He keeps me supplied with used laptop batteries from his work… Man I’ve found some dandies!!! So he is definately getting a new Light!!!
My order with FastTech arrived in a fast 11 days. The package was shipped next day after order, but HKpost sat on it for 6 days before it started moving, and HKpost is usually late in updating their tracking information.
Ordered placed late on Jan. 8 a will pick up tomorrow morning.
I do not think you can do any better than that.

Remember: Orders under $15 from FastTech will ship out HK post unless you add the USPS option, which is reallly cheap. USPS actualy picks it up from FastTech NOT HK Post.
my tracking was just updated, but i had it as hk post in my app, and its being tracked with usps so it wasnt showing updates. you could try tracking with usps see if that helps

The link on my FastTech order page never works properly (kind of directs me to the wrong tracking page from HK Post) so I just copy and paste like I'm back in high school doing an assignment.

I’m waiting on a DX order that I ordered a few days ago, and the status hasn’t even changed… Let alone, shipped.
Initially, China/HK post and USPS/ebay teamed up to offer inexpensive shipping for lightweight packages under the phrase “ePacket”, but now it’s offered by those outside of ebay too.

But it only works China~~US, NOT US~~>China… in fact, many US ebay sellers complain that it’s cheaper for the Chinese to ship to the US than it is for US biz’s to ship domestic USPS first class.

I usually have the package in my hands before USPS even acknowledges that it’s even made it to the US.
Just dropped my first order from Fast Tech….I am HOPING that they are as good as I keep seeing. Would be great to have a decent Chinese supplier where you don’t have to wait a month. (Would be better to have a US supplier that could match the Chinese pricing, but I don’t see that coming anytime soon) I’ve had it with DX and DD although my last DD order did just show up (East Coast, US) and I don’t think it’s even been 2 weeks. Shocked the hell outta me!
That last part is so true! I can order a 99 cent part and they can ship it from china free. Order that same part from someone that lives 10 miles from my house and it would cost more than double that for just shipping alone. Go figure
