Bug with new post notification in email, with multi-page threads

When I get an email notification of a new post in a multi-page thread, which is not on the first page, the link to it always gets redirected to the first page of the thread.

Then I need to click the [X new] link to get to that new post.

Example:

The address I get in the email is - https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/93#comment-22074

The address of [X new] - https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/93?page=1#comment-22074

Can it be fixed?

Will save me a click and 5 seconds of page load time :)

That spammer's post brought this post to the top, sorry I didn't see it before!

Yes, this is sort of a know issue, and it seems to be a core problem with the forum software. There's a new version available of this forum software, which I hope to upgrade to at some point in the future.
