Fake chargers (XTAR, Nitecore)!!!

They have copy of China/HK manufactured products. Even skyray king has its china version as I saw in taobao this “If you want to buy international version of SRK please look elsewhere.

No, until you mentioned it LOL :D!
Kreisler never posts regular images, theres always something “special” about them!

Interesting that a search for “Xtar” on bestvaping.net produces zero hits.

What about the Nitecore i4s?

Me too, but I havent received an answer yet.

XTAR on the other hand came back at me, answering my questions.

Short summary: the raid was at bestvaping/efest. They cant spread the info publicly because of chinese law. The fake chargers are of good quality and we shouldnt worry about it. If anyone is concerned, contact XTAR with your serial number (although I'm sure those can be faked, too).

XTAR doesnt have distributors in China, but in the rest of Asia. I take it that Hong Kong doesnt count as "China" for them.

XTAR is not interested in products of other brands, if we want to know anything about the Nitecore stuff, we should contact Nitecore.

So far the official info, now my 2 cents:

"Ouchyfoot" made a good comment on that in the other thread:

So I think it is really Efest. Those chargers are probably internally identical to the genuine ones. Or they even are genuine but got there in a partially legal way.. ;)

Anyone wondered why Efest released their own BIO charger which looks almost like a twin to the XTAR WP2 if you remove the label?

-> Chinese manufacturers copy from other chinese manufacturers. XTAR tells us not to worry.

Dont worry, be happy.

But I have to say that I wish some things in China would finally change. Legal notices on the websites would come in handy in such situations, for example. Well.. :)

ChiX, I think the lights are a gift from Xtar to the police dept, a “thank you” gift.
Regards!

I think that might explain why the XTAR 18700s I ordered 2013/1/11 were suddenly "out of stock" at 2013/1/15.

Asked them to send some Panasonics instead - let's hope those are legit.

Are you sure it’s Chinese?

Man, if members/testers such as you might be doubting the legitimacy, we’re all screwed

OMG! That too!

Its in a white box container with springy metal handle. Shrimp fried rice or Lo Mein is usually put in this container.
There are soy sauce, hot sauce and duck sauce plastic sachets in the brown paper bag.
A pair of wooden chopsticks still attached to each other in red paper sleeve.
At least two pieces of fortune cookies also in the bag.
Check the strip of paper in the fortune cookies it they have Chinese proverbs or good luck predictions on one side and lotto numbers on the other side.
A free soda in can if your order is more than $7.00.

I hope I didn’t miss anything…

Thank you, friend. Please don’t worry, it won’t shoot in bestvaping.net.

Bestvaping will never lie to any of our customer. Always did our best to keep best quality for our customer, always trying to improve our quality. Even nobody is perfet, but we still keep improve ourself at all the times, and always keep improve the quality and service at first. We declare that we did not selling any fake Xtar chargers to our customers. All for originals with high quality one. Our customers are all know the truth about how does the bestvaping ( efest company) working, how does the bestvaping ( efest company) served our customers, how does best working ( efest company) offered goods quality, how does bestvaping ( efest company) helped our customers. This is the reason why our efest batteries are famous and grow up quickly.

Just as our customer said ” efest won’t sell fake Xtar chargers, cause I’ve never received any complaint about their products since I dealing with them, no matter Xtar chargers or efest batteries.” Well, I really believe this customer is telling the truth but without flatter us. But I do also believe that our engineer told me the impressive words: ” As long as it is product, there will be defective products. Only when the defective products happened, then you will find the way to resolve it, then the products quality can be improved.” For any original products, this words always happened. All of the high quality products must being test over again and again until to make sure the defective rate to lowest then will start selling to the market. There is no any factory can produce 100% non-defective products. and only the irresponsible supplier will selling the defective products to the market. But we are a responsible, honest and stable supplier, all of our customers know it.

I believe the business man always want to doing business with a supplier who is responsible, honest, stable, and can supplier high quality and original products with cheapest price and good service. This is what we are move to and which is we always keep doing like this.

Best Regards,

Jone

PHEW! Looks like yours is the real deal! There have been problems with fake Chinese food before and to my knowledge the only way to tell is the fortune cookies. If you crack them open you will see either sysmax or Xtar coupon codes and no good luck messages writing. The only other giveaway is the chopsticks if they sometimes have small green dinosaurs or them. Nobody is sure why as of yet.

Marc.

Jone, you know I like you as we have exchanged numerous PNs, but that post seems like someone from marketing made it. ;)

Have you read the whole thread? Its pretty clear that the raid was at bestvaping (or some other seller with the same name?).

Also, you dont have any XTAR brand products in your shop anymore, just like AW which allegedly were fakes.

And what about the BIO charger looking exactly like the XTAR WP2?

You might have made mistakes in the past, be honest from now on and everything is fine. I wouldnt bother buying from you again, even assuming you sold fake XTAR and AW products.

Fake doesnt even mean that the products were copied, we all know how chinese business works. Manufacturers take contracts which are not profitable for them and afterwards sell the same product with less cost in higher quantities. So maybe those were genuine chargers and batteries but the owner of the name didnt want you to sell them.

If you buy 500pcs of something from China, they will print whatever name and logo you want on it.

Hi David,

Thank you for clarify the facts. Much appreciate for it.

Too bad, I have an xtar coming from a chinese retailer

What on earth this clarifies? Raid took place at bestvaping, that´s sure.

filtt: Where do you have the info from?

From a very truthful source at Hongkong.

You dont have any more detailed information if those were really fakes or just being sold without knowledge of XTAR? Or any other useful information?^^

“This particular video is shooted in bestvaping.net raid.”

filtt, how did you know that the video was a raid at bestvaping.net ?

I watched the video and can’t find any reference to bestvading.net, unless some chinese writing on the boxes says bestvading.net

At which part of the video did it refer that the raid took place at bestvading.net?

Xtar’s facebook did not expose the name of company raided at that video.
