Your BLF Avatar

I wanted to use my actual photo as some have here, but I’ve been told at 7’3” tall, including other features, I bear a striking resemblance to Glenn Strange from Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein. So rather than scare forum members, I decided on using a boring avatar of my AE Light Xenide 25W HID.

Richie, If you look anything like Glenn Strange, I'd like your autograph.... lol! (I am a huge fan of those old movies) I have many on DVD

Hi Glenn! Nah, don’t look anything like him. But from the photo I posted, I guess it’s easy to tell I’m his biggest fan (no pun intended) to have immortalized him as I have. You have great taste in movies too.

Thanks Richie. You have to see my collection of old horror movies, including Abbott and Costello comedy horror flicks. I have a special liking of 'B' rated horror flicks from the 40's, 50's and the 60's

Are you a fan of Plan 9 from Outer Space? (Think that's the name.). Another old fav of mine is King of Hearts. Really want my wife to see it (she's now a professional licensed Counselor).

Garry, I have Plan 9 From Outer Space. I can make you a DVD copy if you like. It's probably the worst movie ever made but it's a classic. I believe it's Bela Lugosi's last movie.

You guys are great. We’re going to have to start a section on this forum for horror classic “B” movies. I’m in for sure

Yeah, I believe he died during the filming and his wife (?) played his remaining parts keeping her face covered. It's a classic "B" rated movie! And yes, one of the worst! I'm only 37 and my wife thinks I'm crazy for liking these old movies. (I grew up with older parents and was brought up on them.)

Mine is a toy that featured prominently one season of Breaking Bad. That show scares me, and it’s so dark, I couldn’t watch it without a couple of flashlights handy.

No plans on changing it, but who knows.

I wish I would have thought of Major Kong. That’s one of my favorite movies.

Best movie ever!

it really is one of the greats. But then again I'm a huge Peter Sellers fan. Last week I watched Dr. Strangelove, Being There, and The Mouse That Roared all in one night. It's nice not having a life. lol!

Friend of mine created a new flashlight line, I made a poster with a pic I took of his little light. Thus my avatar is born!

Got mine to work. My avatar is me, wielding a 30 pound Concrete hammer I made in my third year apprenticeship. Little did I know it has lightening powers once I coated it with sealer  (I’m not the best at photoshop)

Looks painful.

Are you Thor ?

I’m his Carpenter Cousin, god of lighting

God of Lighting

10 points if you know my new one :

Porco Rosso!

10 points to the Miyazaki fan !
