2x18650 Basic Charger for $1.70 at Wallbuys (Now $3.79)

I believe so. There’s a good 3/4-1” of useable space once you’ve removed the electronics.

Who needs an open field when you can use your laptop as the chip’s heatsink

flash.light, what charger is that?

Over 9000 hours in paint.

Nice!
Very good use for these!

Oh yeah, in case you're wondering how I get a nice twist my leads, this is how

Yup, that’s a neat trick. I did a 30’ twist once… would not like to do it by hand.

The watermark in the photo dzkr.net takes you to the seller’s taobao site (some kind of diy shop: emitters, custom lights, etc.) The direct link to the charger is here

Translation is something like DIY TP4057 single 18650,26650 charger 500MA USB (in other words, a Miller without circuit board protection?) I guess it’s all about the laptop heatsink

This one got me laughing:

But how do you know the circuits you are buying to make your own are any better than what is in these cheap chargers?

I made a product request for this taobao charger on fasttech.
Perhaps someone should request these eBay boards

If anyone wants to request a tp4056 usb CC/CV charger board, here is a great one. lctech-inc.com tp4056 with temp monitor

Its the only board that has the option to monitor battery temperature.

I don’t like mini USB.
Why not standard USB or micro USB?

Mini USB jack might still be slightly cheaper.
Ebay has lots of micro to mini USB adapters

USB adapters won’t do as good. With Android stuff flooding the market, MicroUSB is everywhere now, and Mini is not.

I’m just thinking along the line where you go to a friend’s or relative’s house, you can always borrow their jack to charge and not bother to think about converters etc.

I just noticed that the price has changed to the more typical $3.79 for this charger. I was going to order a few the other day but forgot, so I missed out… :frowning: Would have made nice holders; oh well.

Yep. And now it says sold out.

Almost everything says sold out, that is because of the Chinese new year

Preparing for holiday, they will start the group buy reservation sale thing soon.

Does anyone have a review of this charger? I am thinking about gutting it for use with my hobby charger but if it is in fact decent I will keep it as a spare charger.

I’ve had no problems, and no one I’ve sold them to has complained.
