Im after a cheap ‘side-by-side’ flashlight. The led type is unimportant as I only want the battery compartment for another project.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Why not just MAKE a housing? ABS/PVC would be a good choice.
If it needs to be a flashlight body, I would say the man above nailed it.
The Small Sun ZY T08 is around $25.
Ive got some pvc tube that would do the job, but I prefer the shape of the flashlight body with its flattened sides.
At $20 though, I could grow to like the pvc option!
