Cheap HID at Manafont

I'd like to see some beamshot comparisons with that. Pretty small package for an HID light.

that is beefy. 70mm wide by 220mm long

How many lumens does something like that put out?

What kind of run time do HIDs typically post?

hmm 1400 lumens out of a 2 pound flashlight doesn't seem to be the best lumen to size ratio...

now if it was 3000 lumens...

I wouldn't bother with 24 watt metal halide hid as the effacacy is pretty low until you reach at least >35w which has a efficacy of around 90 lumens a watt. These usually go for 100$ , the 35/28W versions go for around 120-140$, and the 50/38 W versions go for 140-160$ .

Plenty of light and a fairly useful beam. There's a beamshot in this thread. http://budgetlightforum.cz.cc/node/1079

I get around 50 min run time.
