A Cool Flashlight Design??

Where are ya MRsDNF????

Here is the design for your next light... I'll send you a bill later! Wink

Wouldn't this make a cool looking head on a flashlight with just a few minor adjustments??? Hmmmmmm....

Enjoy! Dan.

What on earth were you smoking last night? I have enough trouble soldering one LED. I cant work out what it is trying to be but I am a senile bugger. Is it some sort of tint chart and what adjustments were you thinking?Wink

Looks like a car light, not the best host for a flashlight, isn’t it ?

Ha! Well, I figured you or Old-Lumens could just whip one of these out by dark thirty or so!!  It is actually a chart from an engineering site that sends me junk... they are talking about heat, power, all kinds of stuff... its a PDF, if you want the whole thing drop me a note. I have a copy.  The complete image and info squares take a full page or I would have made it large enough to read.

Perhaps if that right side was rolled inward a little... or for those that like a weapon light... just leave it as is for cracking walnuts. Mabey roll it on to the left and curl it up for another LED.... I don't know... JUST PLAYIN! ... You do it!

Yummm! I like Pills! Can you tell??  Just get your file out and get at it!! What happens when you put a aspheric lens behind a flat one?? Have you ever tried that??  We gotta build this thing, it's driving me nuts! I thought about it all day!

Just leave that nuts comment alone! I can see that look in your eye from here! Tongue Out

OK... I took the pills!  Here is a quick thought of what it could be... going from the outside shape to a round base to screw onto the tube.  WHO says lights must be round all over???Wink  OK... gotta go to bed, been at it since 4A.M. and I'm tuckered!

Enjoy! Dan.

Imagine looking out through this thing. What is that 3d plastic process? Add that to a full face latex mould, add some gitd and multi color LEDs with maybe a red at the focal point of the eye. Oooh! We could probably get it into a horror film.
