If you type in a given address where you want your icon to appear, there’s no need to edit the map. So use the street corner, 5th and Main, and the icon will appear right there. Done. No need to go into edit mode. If you don’t mind using your actual address, just put in the search bar and there ya go.

I think the OP was actually thinking of an automated system that would put a blip on the map in accordance to where you say you are in your profile. As Gords said, sb would be in the dark, somewhere….

DBCstm, you still have to add your username somehow, thats what edit is for.

I feel lonely in Germany. :/

Well, I guess we just have to be careful when in edit mode adding our username that we don’t skew the works.

set the first fire in Maine. put my actual town, just not the actual address. its a small town so if some stalker wants to find me, wont be too hard though
edit: looks like north east USA and surrounding area is dominating in density (i say surrounding area because canada)

How do I edit my username on the map? I completely spaced about including that when adding the pin. Currently I’m a question mark and anonymous.

Also, I see Chicago X needs to change his username to New Buffalo X :wink:

You click red EDIT button and choose yourself from list, edit stuff and press OK.
