Wrist watches. Post pics, if you EDC one!

My previous Citizen Eco-Drive lasted 11 years and has been giving up the ghost. A new capacitor can be put in for some $80. They’ll want to clean it and put in new seals and such which will probably bring it up to around $200. So I bought a new one instead.

I’m a Titanium nut, love how much lighter a watch is when it’s Ti vs. SS. This one is considerably large but then I’m older and also just got bi-focals, so the larger face comes in handy. Plus, it looks nice!

First shot, the new one up close. Second shot, old on top, new on bottom.

Also have a 200M water resist Casio G-Shock for the rough days, don’t have a current picture of it, but love it for it’s Solar power and Atomic timekeeping. Most accurate watch I’ve ever owned!

Some seriously nice collections here, for sure!

Congratulations, that honeycomb pattern looks really cool!

Mine (not my picture, too lazy at the moment :stuck_out_tongue: )

Definitely not EDC at 20" in diameter, but it is a Seiko :)

I would love to say one day that I EDC this bad boy…Zenith Tourbillon:

And this would be it’s back-up

I have a Suunto Observer, I don’t wear a watch much any more but it is nice to have to have around in case I need to use it.

It has: altimeter, compass, barometer, and tells me what time it is.

New diver

and some nice glow

We share similar preferences. I like that design. I own some skeleton type watches and I recently got my first flying tourbillon. I just love it.

Nices watches guys…

Some of mines

Hey, I have got this one too, but I somehow missed your post when I browsed the thread. It seems to be a chinese copy of a russian watch. However, I like it.

My EDC couple:

I also had a Casio triple sensor. Sadly the second time the battery change went bad. It wasn’t waterproof anymore. I found out one week later. Well the rest is history.
It had a very nice optional function. The backlight did lit when it was tilted. When I turned my wrist to read the time the backlight got on for some seconds.

somehow amusing review:

$495 for 200 lumen…

My new HMT:

As my two oldest reached 18, my wife and I bought watches for them which they themselves selected. My second son has just turned 18 and thanks to Mr Duck for kindly on forwarding the watch to me.

Firstly my oldest who has been wearing this everyday for two years.

Secondly my second son's new watch.

Not my pictures but I’ll post some pics of the watches I have, pretty much all budget but I like them.

-

  1. F-91W-1 - $14
A little too small for my big wrists.

-

2) W-800H-1AVCF - $19
Good size and features.

-

3) DW5600E-1V - $40
My favorite, although its lacking dual time which I miss.

A while ago I would have said I don’t need a watch because I have a phone, but I can’t carry my phone at work so I have been EDCing watches and even now when I still carry a phone I feel like my wrist is naked if I don’t have a watch one.

I’ve started collecting EDC watches again. Here’s a couple new ones with a couple dress watches. I really like the Seiko 5 Auto. The Citizen is also nice, but I hate the band.
