I thought about getting a second SRM 909, because I like mine so much but it seems the prices via ebay.de are generally high. You can watch them via advanced search function, "Completed listings" (Beendete Angebote).
Don't give up the hope, my SRM 939 (vid) just arrived after 56 days (exactly 8 weeks). It is a beautiful elegant knife and opening is smooth despite having a coated blade. If you like sheepfoot blades... get it while you can. (if you have a lot of patience ;-) )
Pulled the trigger on that 962 from DB, let's see if they ship in the next 2 weeks.
Tinydeal is pretty fast in shipping to Germany ... 10 and 14 days so far, so it beats DB by roughly 6 weeks. ;-)
Yeah, Green Lantern was so cool back in the days, I hope that not all my future lights will have a green tint because of my avatar. .... One ring to rule them all....

Shipping notification from Discovery Bargain for the Sanrenmu MC-962just confirmed via email.
They actually seem to have some in stock.
I wonder where they get their stuff from. Sanrenmu WR5-905 is also new there.
Maybe they are so slow because of shipping via cargo airplanes? I noticed that my evelope arrived via Leipzig and not Frankfurt Customs like all my other stuff from China/HK, would also explain their extremly low prices compared to other websites, at least when it comes to knives.
Just got 3 srm 963 G10 black from manafont. To tell the truth i expected a larger handle. Anyway i can't believe how nice this knife is. Axis lock must become a standard for any knife!
The feel, the build quality, the locking, finish... lightweight yet feels sturdy. Would buy 10 more but then i again 2 spares are more than enough. Actually 1 would be enough but... aaaaaaargh!
Must stop buying knives... for flashlights i gave up already, i just can't.
Sorry to all that this thread dragged them into compulsive knives buying.
I think the 18 centimeter class is perfect for (medium) EDCing imo, such as the Bee L03-2 and L02. The 20 centimeter class (900-series, many Bee of the L-series) can be a little large and the 16 cm (700-series) class a little too small. Ordered 2 of the Bee L03-2just now, because I really like the one that a friend ordered.
Got my SRM/Land 909 in the mail yesterday - it is one big, bold and beautiful knife! Makes all my 700 series knives look tiny. Fit, finish, operation are all excellent, except for a tiny pit or two in the blade finish near the LAND logo. I find the grip to be very comfortable in my hand. Postal scale says it's just shy of 5 ounces, even with the skeletonized liner. Can't say I notice the weight very much clipped to my pants pocket, but it would be a load in the bottom of a pocket.
My big knife desires have been met - for now. At least until my 962 from DB arrives. I'm also thinking that the 905 might be an interesting compromise between this gigantic knife and the 700 series.
Get an Enlan EL-01/02 and you will see how tiny your 909 really is. ;-) The 905 is similar in length and thickness to the 909, only the width is smaller on the 905. I can do some comparison shots on the weekend if you want. There is not much choice in the middle-class section as I wrote in post #344.
