what are your top three EDC flashlight

I'm the unabashed tightwad and shameless cheapskate here. In fact I'm even more scotch than a certain member of ours here who really is Scotch! Therefore, my every day carriers are:

Nothing wrong with the lights you have and own man......my motto now is if the light works then it will get used.

My every day carriers are:

-Proton clone in keychain

- UF MCU C7s @XP-G

- ITP A1 EOS

I've got one of these in every keychain: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.20243

And have been rotating a 47's mini 123 and a ITP AOS AAA.(both with li-ion rechargables) But it depends on what I am going to do in that particular day. These aren't my favourite, but are my most used lights.

I do prefer the power of the cr123 driven lights, but the small size of the ITP is more appealing.

I understand that these two lights aren't all that "budget", but I do like them a lot.

Other contenders that I also got, but don't get EDC used that often, but still awesome lights: TrustFire XP-EF23 (I have one in my pocket right now...), TANK007 TK-703.

Hey i did'nt get to name my 3 most used lights....for edc use i would have to go with L2m, ITP SA1, and the Romi RC-A4. These do get rotated out with other lights of course, i like to have one for indoor use and a small throwy light like the ITP C9 or the SA1.

iTP A3 EOS - On my keychain

Romisen RC-B3 w/ Q3-5C - On my desk within reach (I'm there a LOT)

iTP A2 EOS or Streamlight Microstream - In my shirt pocket

I like this question because it changes all the time ..

AAA - 701 tank

cr 123- nitecore EX10

AA - Eastward YJ J09 or a Tank 566

I like tanks cheap, great tints ,super build, what's not to like ?

This question leads to the next one .. that asks .... what light are you going to buy next ??

maybe a thrunite catapult xml ...for starters

Hooray for Necro-Threads! Since I joined after this thread started, here's my edc:

Home: Fenix LDO1 /w 10440 on keychain and Zebralight SC60 in the pocket

Work: MG P-Rocket in the belt holster, Zebra H51 on the hardhat, and a good ol' C78 in the pocket.

I'm starting to collect torches at a disturbing pace, but so far those 5 haven't been de-throned.

Maratac / ITP 3mode AAA [ very nice ]

Ultrafire A20 1 x RCR123A [ one is SSC P7 - the other is XM-L T5 ]

Ultrafire RL-168 [ moded to SSC P4 ]

Since my original post 7 months ago, the one I use 90% of the time is the Aurora SH-034.

Clips to my belt..........flood-throw, useable beam to ~50m........and cheap.

I think it is the same as mine here.

Since I've only recently become an addict, I have only a few months' experience to play with, but...

Just can't complain about the trusty Fenix E01! This little guy gets the job done and inspires confidence. I couldn't see NOT carrying a flashlight now.

My other jacket-pocket light is a fairly new RMSEN RV-107. Crummy switch, gobs of light (especially compared to the E01), great price.

Come spring, we'll have to decide on a "motorcycle cubbyhole" flashlight... probably one of my Romisen RC-29s.

Lights on my keychain (always with me): Akoray K-102 head + homemade body to accomodate 10280 li-ion cell, DX 3xLR41 keychain light modded with Nichia GS 10 lumens 5 mm led. This is my main backup and secondary backup lights. The primary light depend of the mood.

AAA - Mr Lite KC-05. Covered with some clear vinyl shelving liner because the finish isn't that good, but it's always on my keychain.

AA - Sipik Sk-68. Zoomable, good output, cheap, fits well under my suits. Need to try it with a 14500

18650 - Modded Techlite Lumen Master. XP-E Q3 modded to take an 18650 instead of an AAA battery holder. ~180 lumens, I can use a 3-mode soft switch.

Cool pic of your keys on your 'light chain'.

Stainless steel DQG AAA clicky

FW3A

Not at all, it's a great thread!

1. Trustfire TR-801 with moded driver (AK-47) with hi-med-lo.

2. Sipik 68 zoomie

3. 504B alternative version (look at manafont) wit their R5 dropin 5 mode. It is EDC when climate requres to wear a jacket of some sort. (currently using the XM-L P60 cannon)

This was my favorite flashlight... a custom light using a Luxeon and an N-cell. Beat out my Arc AAA and even my Arc4+ for sheer beauty and versatility.

Then I was absent from the scene for a few years.

Right now it is my iTP A1. The little sucker is brighter than my Elektrolumens Blaster and hotwire Mag, which used to be the brightest lights I owned!
