5V Mobile Power Supply from ebay: 2A 1A 0.5A: SAFE?

Hello and not sure if this the right forum to post to. If not just let me know and I’ll get a mod to move it there to the best forum.

Just wanta know if this thing safe for charging? Seems like a good price specially for some of my gal’s 18650’s. Many thanks in advance.

I have a review of that box in the pipeline.

Fortuitous timing HKJ; thank you for the forward alert.

Your recommended Nitecore/Sysmax i2 charger is running strong with a range of cells and batteries and I thank you once again for the comprehensive review which resulted in this satisfied purchase.

I’ll be eagerly waiting for HKJ’s review too.
I have one of those, bought it just to use up some of my laptop pulls.
Same vendor, I paid less than $9
Have never actually used it, only tested that it works.

Mine 6x18650 box charges cells up to 4.24V (before termination, charging voltage is 4.27V)

This doesn’t worries me as I got 4.3V Samsung cells, but for most people this’d be a issue. :s

Usualy these boxes use 2xTP4056 for charging.

There is a thread about these here.
I have a similar bought from suntekstore/etherdeal

This one does not like it does that.

Having owned this one for 4 months. It appears to be the same as the one you are looking at. It never charged any of my batteries over 4.25v and it took quite some abuse. Having to take out screws to change the batteries got annoying quite quickly. Ordered that one to replace it, and will write a review for it after having beaten on it some more.
