Budget knives dealers all in one

Got my SRM/Land 909 in the mail yesterday - it is one big, bold and beautiful knife! Makes all my 700 series knives look tiny. Fit, finish, operation are all excellent, except for a tiny pit or two in the blade finish near the LAND logo. I find the grip to be very comfortable in my hand. Postal scale says it's just shy of 5 ounces, even with the skeletonized liner. Can't say I notice the weight very much clipped to my pants pocket, but it would be a load in the bottom of a pocket.

My big knife desires have been met - for now. At least until my 962 from DB arrives. Laughing I'm also thinking that the 905 might be an interesting compromise between this gigantic knife and the 700 series.

Get an Enlan EL-01/02 and you will see how tiny your 909 really is. ;-) The 905 is similar in length and thickness to the 909, only the width is smaller on the 905. I can do some comparison shots on the weekend if you want. There is not much choice in the middle-class section as I wrote in post #344.

You are correct, the difference between the 905 and 909 is not as great as I thought. The L02 is interesting, just wish it had my preference of tip-up carry. However, the clip looks very well designed for the knife to ride deep in the pocket. Oh well, I'm not in too big a hurry to move onto the next thing - I'm still very much enjoying the 909. I've been cutting fruits and other food at work lately, and the 700 series knives have been a little lacking in size. This new knife is definitely up for the task.

The L02 with tip-up carry clip, a full flat ground blade with the blade shape of the L03-2 with the same polish as the 909 and dark blue textured G10 or dark blue matte Micarta would be pretty much my dream knife.

Navy seems to have many medium sized knifes (7" or 180mm in size), which is rare for SRM/Land and Bee/Enlan.

But since you are already here, is there any way to speed up delivery times to Europe/Germany, but still keep the free shipping option? My first order (a Sanrenmu 939 knife) took 8 weeks to arrive here, this is the longest that any parcel from China/HK ever needed for me and others have also experienced extreme delays like that. I would order a lot more from DB if shipping wouldn't take so long. (2-4 weeks is normal) If you can find out how Tinydeal.com does it, that would be good, because TD parcels/envelopes arrive here in 2 weeks. Also after 45/65 days after the order the buyer will have to raise a Paypal claim/case, that is not so good for DB and their customers.

Your prices on knives are very attractive, is it possible for you to offer more Navy Knifes? Thanks

For what it’s worth, I’ve had about a handful of orders make it to my doorstep in under four weeks. I’d have to check to be sure but I think I have four more knives on the way and I’ll be sure to report if they take longer than expected to get here.

+1.

The Sanrenmu T01A is not available on Tinydeal anymore. They wrote me:

The item FKT-11975 you ordered has been stopped to producing, we can't get the items from our suppliers.

The only shop I know who offers it is exduct, but it's more expensive.

Woo-hoo, just got a shipping notifiction for the 962 from DB.

When did you order it? I've got one from eBay, but I want another one.

I ordered on the 19th, the day after they first appeared on DB. Currently, they are still showing up on their webpage: http://www.discoverybargain.com/product/HT00292L/Sanrenmu_MC-962_Folding_Knife_(Silver)_20151.html

Got it! Oooops... My fingers must have slipped because somehow a Navy 607 found its way into my cart too!

LOL! You have to be careful around those keyboards.

Has anyone found a discount code for Discovery Bargain? I need some knives

i would like to gift someone a srm 939, any < $11 link ?

google throws up : http://www.discoverybargain.com/product/HT00428S/Sanrenmu_6-939_Foldable_Knife_%28Silver%29_28884.html but it does not show up when browsing the site itself. DB does not reply to my e-mails.

Also OS at TD : http://www.tinydeal.com/pocket-manual-release-folding-knife-w-clip-8cr13mov-stainless-steel-blade-202mm-full-length-fkt12202-p-11147.html.

TD is out of stock but indicates it will be 'returning soon'. If you do a search for 8cr13mov it will show up at the end of the list.

Can't say what's going on at DB, but it may be out of stock there too.

Just got my second order of 763's from DB, ordered on the 10th. I am pleased.

That's why you need to check your Customs regulations (and state laws regarding knives), spring assisted openers are kinda' a grey area (as they're bordering on a flick knife style) but the axis lock style shouldn't present an issue.

Haha, funny how that happens!
