Opps, not “Tube Lights”

if its going to use what garry posted… its smellin pretty good over here

Here's a search for your viewing pleasure. A few 26650 flashlights that can be found on TaoBao. (about a few hundered different ones?).

Dang Garry thats kind of a good looking light

Damm you Gary……. ordered, less than a tenner, I’ll do an ebay round up I guess

Flo, the cheapy is what’s being replaced, do NOT buy one unless you have an inclination to self flagellation……

I should have been clearer, the tube light was an accident, my prefeeence is for 30 - 40mm reflectors.

The give away is likely to be one of the two lights I ordered.

Must order some more xm-l 4c’s as its my favorite tint at the moment

No, No, that is a Zoomie, I bought one — not a flat lens flashlight!

Thanks for the link ol, a quick browse and this caught my eye

You sure? Because I just bought one too and the pictures look like a reflector to me…

It worked for me, but I know how to translate your Ebay Mobile links to “real” links  . I also had to find one that shipped to USA. My only thought on your link was that it seemed like too cheap build quality, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, it was hard to tell if it had a driver retaining ring or not. Get it and post up the build :) .

P.S. - I'm good at spending your money aren't I?

subscribed to this thread… im interested in that host at that price if you can easily mod it

I’m not seeing the m10 beaten at this price point, if I didn’t have an m10 already, that’s the one to buy, tube wise the a8 is the same.

But I’ve spent less than I would on a steak for these two and I feel we need to redress the BUDGET in budget light forum :expressionless:

Gords, I have to ask - why cant you use an A8? It is arguably the best built 26650 light made for any price. Easy to mod, built like NASA engineered it, rock solid with a beautiful, durable haIII finish. :~

Thats a good looking light you posted gords

It states that is a SMALL SUN ZY-T03

Because I already have a blf a8

I actually wanted something in the m10 range, , just that tube light was cheap enough to justify a punt on. Both lights cost less than one a8, and I’ve seen nothing on either, you never know, it may be a diamond in the rough, I doubt it, but it was worth a look.

Yes, I avoided googling it as it would likely result in another reason for mrs gords to fall out with me….but please feel free to look on my behalf……

[Rolls eyes]

Your are right, Gords, (as always). Yep, I bought a Giveaway torch from easebon (same seller) and it was a Zoomie. But, after examining the link posted, it is not the same as the Zoomie I bought, and I also believe, now, that this is a regular flat lens torch, sorry, next time I will not try to jump the shark…

Gords, I’ve always had an eye for the light. Reminds me of my Skyray 856. I figured it would be underdriven, but should be a very easy driver mode. I may still get one.

Hi Gords, the clone you have is the JM05 not the JM07, just saying.

Fasttech do have a light very similar to the JM07, I wouldn’t call it a clone though:

Pretty much same dimensions as the JM07, 41mm head diameter. A lot more expensive at International outdoors:

I’ve also held the PAlights in hand in store, the anodising and knurling is top knotch. Held against my Nitecore MT26 (not the quad beast) I couldn’t tell the difference in quality, they were very nice lights:
