It worked for me, but I know how to translate your Ebay Mobile links to “real” links . I also had to find one that shipped to USA. My only thought on your link was that it seemed like too cheap build quality, but I could be wrong.
Yeah, it was hard to tell if it had a driver retaining ring or not. Get it and post up the build :) .

P.S. - I'm good at spending your money aren't I?
Gords, I have to ask - why cant you use an A8? It is arguably the best built 26650 light made for any price. Easy to mod, built like NASA engineered it, rock solid with a beautiful, durable haIII finish. :~
I actually wanted something in the m10 range, , just that tube light was cheap enough to justify a punt on. Both lights cost less than one a8, and I’ve seen nothing on either, you never know, it may be a diamond in the rough, I doubt it, but it was worth a look.
Yes, I avoided googling it as it would likely result in another reason for mrs gords to fall out with me….but please feel free to look on my behalf……
Your are right, Gords, (as always). Yep, I bought a Giveaway torch from easebon (same seller) and it was a Zoomie. But, after examining the link posted, it is not the same as the Zoomie I bought, and I also believe, now, that this is a regular flat lens torch, sorry, next time I will not try to jump the shark…
Gords, I’ve always had an eye for the light. Reminds me of my Skyray 856. I figured it would be underdriven, but should be a very easy driver mode. I may still get one.
I’ve also held the PAlights in hand in store, the anodising and knurling is top knotch. Held against my Nitecore MT26 (not the quad beast) I couldn’t tell the difference in quality, they were very nice lights:
