Hi Gords, the clone you have is the JM05 not the JM07, just saying.
Fasttech do have a light very similar to the JM07, I wouldn’t call it a clone though:
http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10003006/1225301-x-power-ha-iii-cree-xm-l-t6-3c-ha-iii-35-mode-900-
Pretty much same dimensions as the JM07, 41mm head diameter. A lot more expensive at International outdoors:

I’ve also held the PAlights in hand in store, the anodising and knurling is top knotch. Held against my Nitecore MT26 (not the quad beast) I couldn’t tell the difference in quality, they were very nice lights:

Flo, no worries
Richie I was wondering the same thing, the one I saw looked to be single cell though which was what had me interested.
Who killed jr, I thought the jm05 was two cell, jm07 single cell? I have called it both on occasion but is a poor copy of the original.
Suncoaster, I like the uf-2200, nearly pulled the trigger too. Just wanted to try some left field options. Johnnymac reviewed this light I think, but I cant find the review at the moment :~

The JM05 from memory also had a slightly larger reflector than the JM07.

That was the UF-2220 I reviewed.
UniqueFire UF-2220: the budget Thrunite Scorpion?

So is the UniqueFire UF-2220 as good a light as a Thrunite Scorpion (to which it has more than a striking resemblence)? Heck no! For 1/5 of the street price is the UF-2220 a pretty decent budget alternative? Heck yeah! Let's look at a breakdown of the common feature and specs of each:

ThruNite Scorpion
Street Price:
$25 USD (avg)
$125 USD

Gordsy, you owe me a pint for this. Since the JM07 is one of my favourite lights, I feel like I have to explain this for some reason.
Here is the JM07:

Gords,
The one in the link you posted is 2 cell, but it may have been able to work with 1, but not totally sure. Unfortunately those are long sold out, but I love the look of it, not to mention it’s a 26650 light

Your new light gords. Is the pill removable or is it machined into the light itself like the A8?

Gords, just curious. Can the battery tube of this new light screw into the A8 head? I wanted to know because this could also be a suitable battery carrier for the Definant 3C super thrower as the A8 tube is, if someone wants to easily change the Defiant to a 26650 light. Thanks.

Gords can do better, he can try screwing it into the Defiant itself.
