Ordered one light not on sale. It never showed up. THEY offered to send out a replacement. Then they refused to send it. When I asked them why they told me to wait longer and that they would not send a replacement. I asked for a refund and got no answer, I filed a paypal dispute, they answered via paypal and said they couldnât refund during the dispute. At the end of the dispute time and the first day of full paypal claim they finally refunded.
They lied to me twice. They were not going to send a replacement and they could have refunded my money without dealing with paypal or during the dispute process. I never did get the flashlight, but I did get a refund.
to see them gone. i received a broken nitecore i4 charger. they told me to take it to an appliance repair store and have it fixed! i filed a claim with paypal and got refunded. thank you sb for taking swift action!!!
For all the confusion and worry that I had with Wallbuys, the incredible payoffs were wonderful for me, half price Fenix lights and a $19.00 Olighti6 and all of the cheap Fenix accessories, gave me the gear that I have been craving for a couple of years and they were well worth some trouble, and they always dealt with me well in emails, showing extraordinary patience when I never could get that windows office thing to work for me.
The only actual burns (actual screwing and then told to pound sand) that I have received from retailers here, is from International Outdoor, and Banggood.com.
I have mixed feelings about Wallbuys. Their sales were a stupid, you had to jump though hoops and hope you got the stuff you ordered, which you may or may not do, looking at the last sale. Their site was a little disorganised and there was not a lot of stuff. They also indirectly caused a lot of disagreements on here (hey Brad ).
They were also a little rude to me via PM, but that may or may not have been the language barrier, not sure.
But on the up side, I ordered one of those little 18650 chargers with the fold out plug pins. It should have been $3.79 but they had it at $1.79, a mistake more than likely. I got that in a very reasonable time and it is a brilliant. I also received mt Olight i6 today, ordered it on the 19th, shipped on the 20th an it arrived today. Thatâs only 8/9 days. :bigsmile:
So it is a shame they couldnât do things properly. They could have been a good little dealer.
Ok, well, just to be fair I added some âprosâ based on the comments here. But the âavoidâ rating stays. It is mainly based on their deplorable behavior here on BLF. Usually if a company tries so hard to get business even in dishonest and unscrupulous ways, itâs because it is incapable of doing business in the face of other better competitors.
Rather than âreportsâ of sales, havenât they offered the most incredible sales that most of us have seen, like 50% off Fenix lights and up to 79% off on high quality brand lights like Olight? Couldnât we change that pro to âoffers some incredible sales and great pricesâ?
Shouldnât âSome satisfied customersâ be changed to âmany satisfied customersâ?
I was really growing to like their incredible sales having never seen anything like them in my time with flashlights.
I just never trusted them. Never bought into the sales, just didnât like their approach.
For any other dealers reading this, I let the one spam pm go(not wallbuys, someone else), I wont accept another though, if I plan to blow a wad of cash on a light Iâll come looking, I dont need or want them forcing on me.
Good move sb, I for one was getting sick of every other post on recent posts being âwallbuys this or reserve sale thatâ fasttec seems to be doing well without treating the forum as an advertisement all the time, many dealers could learn from them.
I wasnât sticking up for them or trying to to change you views. For what itâs worth I think you have made the right decision. I was just reflecting on what an enigma they were. They could have been a great dealer but just seemed to be lacking in the important bits.
Their customer service took good and fast care of me. I have placed 3 orders with them so far, the first two are done already and the last one.. I'm waiting. Only placed it yesterday.
This is how I do business with companys in China. Place an order using paypal, wait on the item for 43 days and then file a dispute with paypal if it doesnât show up to cover myself within the 45 day limit. I donât sent them any emails or try to use any tracking numbers. Got two orders from Wallbuys during the Christmas sale and are probably the second and third best deals I have ever gotten on a flashlight. My third order from January 9 was never received so I got a refund from paypal by filing a dispute, no problem at all. Waiting on my fourth order placed a week or so ago. I will still use Wallbuys if they continue to offer the great deals. All of the items I received from Wallbuys were also in mint condition and well packaged. Just because they canât post here doesnât mean we canât go to their website and place orders.
Not really surprised. I will say the original post was a bit one-sided. I see that it has been edited to provide some balance.
I have had good experience with WBâŚabout 6 orders so far all delivered around 21 days. They have been packed very well and arrived in good working condition. I have a $36 SRK on the wayâŚand 4 XTAR batteries I previously bought from them that will fill the inside. I think I paid something like $3/piece.
YeahâŚthe reservation system and other sales were a bit screwy. NeverthelessâŚthey werenât that hard to figure out. It was worth it for the deals I received. English is definitely not their first language, but I didnât expect that it would be. I think half of their problems would go away if they were able to hire someone proficient in English.
Lastly, I have even been accused of being a âshillââŚlol. Whatever. Just reporting my experience.
I had only one order from wallbuys,
and I can say I am pleased with the product, their shipment speed, and also packaging.
One order is not adequate to judge performance of a company, but I do not think wallbuys should get avoid mark.
I have get a PM about their sales, and not pleased to get that kind of spam.
That PM was after receiving my order, and I thought they were sending it to previous customers.
Nope, sorry. They had two chances, and were already banned prior to this for abusing their privileges here in a similar way.
Obviously, I canât make buying decisions for anybody. If you are satisfied, by all means continue doing business with them. However, this thread is a reference for new potential customers, who should be aware of the way they run their business. Additionally, this thread is an explanation of why they are no longer allowed on BLF.
BLF has a very generous policy toward sellers, and if they simply took the time to read the rules and had the decency to follow them, none of this would have happened. As the Rules for Commercial Sellers says,
The ââŚlying shills pretending to be satisfied customersâ on Wallbuyâs part draws the line for me. Once you pull stuff like that, you just canât be trusted. Iâm glad to see them gone.
