That's great news! Are you willing to announce the price yet?

DQG 18650 consider using the NEWEST XM-L2 CW / NW emitter. We would like to know your thought about the color temperature.
1: CW (7000K-7500K) or (6500K-7000K) Or (6000K-6500K)
2: NW (5000K-5500K) or (4500K-5000k) Or (4000K-4500K)
[/quote]
NW 4500-5000K would be my preference. I don't care about CW, but lowest (6000K) would look best. ;)
I like twisties. I have the DQG AA with two modes. And the Sunwayman V10A. If I liked the look and feel of the M10/M11 more, I would get that because it doesnt have a clicky.

it’s the beauty of simplicity. Properly maintained threads will outlast a mechanical switch; and I believe they can deal with higher amperages (<3A) better than most stock or cheapo switches, too.
Put me down for a CW version, pending non-ridiculous price point

Speedsix:
I’m only gonna say this once, “EDC” and twisty does not compute. An EDC has to be small with a clip (got those right) and needs a clicky. A forward clicky with only one or two modes is all that is needed. A multi-mode twisty is useless in an EDC. Some will disagree but the majority of average users have already decided this issue.
I don’t understand why there are so many lights that have twistys and blinky modes when nobody wants them.
I would think it would have to be at least 1/2” longer to have a clicky. I also prefer a clicky but still want one of these if the price is reasonable

My main EDC is on my keychain, which means it has to be a twisty, or a very hard-to-press clicky. I’ll never use a clip.
Like someone else said, the DQG AA is a great little EDC and it’s a twisty.

Interesting light, but considering my experience with DQG low quality I will pay $30 max.

I’d like NW - as warm as possible, 4000k would be great.
CW is fine for throwers, but I need NW or warm color rendering for flooders & close useage.
Very nice looking flashlight. $30 or less sounds about right.
This torch ever going to be released? Is RIC ever going to give us more info on it???

Update: Thanks for your attention to DQG 18650. This light will be put into production next week, about 10-15 days’ lead time. DQG 18650 consider using the NEWEST XM-L2 CW / NW emitter. Posted on 02.03.2013. "Next week" would be anything between 04.03 and 08.03. Plus 10-15 days would be anywhere between 14.03 and 23.03. Be patient. ;)
The silver flashlight looks sexy though. Most lights here in the forums are black. It’s nice to see something different.
