The coolest CR 123 / Small lights ?

You have the Romisen RC-A4x which i think is small........Olight T10 and also the ITP C9. I guess it depends on what you consider small. And the RC-N3 is small if you keep it in the cr123 configuration.

That Aurura just entered my shopping list, looks great and I like these SS lights ! Actually it's almost a demand (to be made out of SS/Ti)

The ITP's above are too fat and big for what I want.. I have to keep this focused :)

i agree it's an amazing light and very well made too..

Yes it is......i also concur. But the quality might go down a bit though, since i have noticed with DX its always better to order when they first get posted.

Unfortunately true. Wish this wasn't the case. But hopefully since BLF is a small place, everone who wants one will get a good one.

Well the 34 is also a fat light......so you might want to reconsider getting it then. Out of all my cr123 based lights the Olight is small in diameter but longer when put up against the 34.

Nice nice, I hope it's in stock ... Will order this one tomorrow !

Anybody ordered one from DX recently ?

Well yea, I was more into the A1 SS type lights, but this aurura is reallly sexy and one of a kind. The SS body is what I liked about it.

Any other SS/TITANIUM designs you like ?

Other than my Aurora SH034, my coolest looking RCR123 light is my Romisen RC-A5 Q5.Cool

I bought it purely on looks alone but that's just me because it might not appeal to others. The Olive Green color was also why I bought it.

Taking a look at SS lights is Don's territory since he has many of them.

Does anybody know of a small budget light with reversible clip so I can clip it on my cap ? Already have the Monarch and ITP EOS, but i'm looking for a real beater that will be abused with water, dust, smoke etc daily.

Don't want to kill my preacous lights.

None of mine have reversible clips. Solarforce sell one which will (or at least ought to) fit any light with a P60 dropin and 25.5mm tube diameter (i.e., Surefire compatible). You can find it on eBay and at your preferred Solarforce parts provider.

I think it is quite expensive for what it is, but if it suits you....

Something like this with your dropin of choice might fit the bill. Allows you to use CR123 or 18650 for longer runtime. Coupled with the reversible clip above it'll clip to a hat brim and shouldn't be too heavy for it. Solarforce L2M. I'd also replace the spiky bezel with a plain one.

Again you may prefer another Solarforce provider, this is the one I use. The total cost should be under $30 unless you want a fancy dropin. I had a quick look through DX's CR123 lights and didn't see anything suitable.

That looks interesting, but COULD be a tad too big to clip on a cap.

But at that price and performance, I may have to compromise on size.

Don, thanks man for the prompt reply !

For clipping on a cap then the L2m might be way too big for that use, and depending on the bezel used the weight is at the front of the light.

That one with the clip is exactly what I was thinking of. I don't own any peaked caps (I hate wearing hats of any type) and I don't own that clip. Any chance of your doing some testing Al?

I would love too if i owned any hats.....i shave my head every morning for the fact that i love being bald, pre military days i guess. But for wearing a hat then this is not the light to use. I like the two way clip over there other one that fits on the tail section.

Another light that i would think fit the bill would be the RR 1 Watt, mine works well with a 14500 cell but it does get hot. Its light and i like the beam profile of the luxeon emitter, the spot smooths into the spill. You can get them at Target if you happen to have one where you live. Sorry to be off topic guys.

As reviewed by me here.

Hugsby P31. The clip is reversible, it ought to be light enough to fit on a hat peak and works pretty well. No 14500 though.

Hugsby looks good! You sure have a lot of lights Don !

What about the stremlight MICROSTREAM ? works ?

Don't have one of those - the one that runs on N cells? In fact, come to think of it, I don't own any Streamlight lights - I do have a 3C TwinTask clone that I got for a fiver in my local Maplin but that's about it.
