Best fit for XML-T6 driver?

HI All...I'm new here. Today just browse to Lck-Led.com saw interest deal for XML-t6@6 Dollas (http://www.lck-led.com/p853/Cree-XLamp-XM-L-Cool-White-LEDs-w/16mm-Board-T6-Group,1000Lm@3A/product_info.html)...Should I buy for my P60 body? If yes, what is the best driver to suit this one? Or I should consider to buy Drop-in XML T6 or U2 from KD/Manafont?

Also, wondering which website is the best to buy 18650? ( I may need 4-5).....Thank guys...

Welcome to BLF, e10sno! I like the Manafont drop-in, but it is ordered H-M-L and has PWM on lower modes, which I'm not crazy about. But mine at least is very bright on High.

If you want to build your own, I think a 16mm board is the biggest that will fit in a P60. The 8x7135 2.8A driver is a good one if you want modes:

For hosts, it is hard to beat Solarforce, though you can sometimes find cheaper alternatives. For 18650 batteries, most people like the Trustfire flame 2400mAh batteries from DealExtreme:

Thanks guys..more options?

Holy Sh!t , I just noticed ... Cool !

Another thing you could do is go to DealExtreme and choose the P60 XM-L flashlight you want for around $22 and then swap the KD drivers into them.

If you don't mind spending a little more you could go all Solarforce: host and drop-in, though I don't think the Solarforce drop-ins are quite as bright as the KD and Manafont ones.

Welcome to BLF!

The driver brted linked at KD is a good one, you get to choose from a selection of modes...so you can get rid of the strobe for instance.

The other option a lot of peopel here would recomend would be the T6 dropin from Manafont

Does anyone know the PWM frequency the KD driver linked earlier, this one?

I wish the low mode could be even lower than 6%...

The Manafont dropin, though nice on high, has a PWM frequency well under 200Hz and drives me nuts.
