NiteCore EA4 @fasttech $46.60

Thanks for the information^.
Looks like I will just enjoy my current EA4W and instead of getting a second, I’ll save toward the EA8 :).

Coupon code worked yesterday... otherwise I would have ordered one from Craig instead.

I did discover much to my disappointment, the BLF coupon no longer works on batteries though :( It did when I placed my first or second order with FT.

I have not seen applied it to batteries because I’ve never bought fewer than three at a time; the bulk discount kicks in which is much more than the BLF 5% discount.

It didn’t work for me but I bought one anyway last night

I just checked, on my second order from them, I only got two sets, not enough for the quantity discount, but I did have 5% come off for the BLF coupon, on batteries. Both pricecontrol and blf coupons worked on the ea4w, but did not stack.

For anybody still wanting to buy one from FT, click on "get an alert" on the product page, enter your email address and you'll be notified when it's back in stock.

They're back... at least I'm able to add one to cart right now (EA4W) and coupon code is working.

You really should stop posting while drunk…

Just ordered a EA4W as I have the normal EA4 and love it.

How is what possible?

The EA4 W was in stock when I posted above. Not the EA4. They were and are two seperate listings.

The EA4W I got was delivered on Feb 8.

Does this answer your question?

EA4 vs EA4W, which one do you recommend?

Personally for a mid range light like this I think NW - EA4W is the better option. Most people I know also prefer NW, but it really is a matter of personal preference.

I find that the clarity, and ability to discern more details, with a NW tint, outweigh the few extra lumens you get with a cool white emmiter. Cool white throwers do produce a nicer looking beam in fog... but if you're after a beam, you'll be better off with a laser.

I went NW, which is still well above 5200k I would say. Much cooler than a 3C emitter. Also, the output should be the same for both EA4 and EA4W; both use a U2 emitter.

Can one model be perceived to be brighter than the other? All other things being equal, of course.

I think the general consensus with NW vs CW is that CW is slightly brighter, but NW is softer to the eyes and therefore more eye-friendly.

EA4 is back in stock! EA4W too.

This is still the best price right? About to take the jump.

Go Go Go!

Done! I know I’m telling the wrong crowd here, but this is the most I’ve ever paid for a light- by 25 bucks or so.

I think you’ll be happy.

NiceCore’s lights are of a pretty decent quality. I just wish it didn’t have its ridiculous MAP pricing. :frowning:
