New Build. Yep, its a useless pedal light. mfpmax has suggested a self defense light.

Bring them all. I don't have any top end lights. The drinks are being chilled as we speak.

OK. Will PM you later.

Keep pedalling !

That 20mm housing fits perfectly in that pedal! I think it has potential for some serious awesomeness. Looks very art deco/steam punk in that pic. 8)

Cool Image MRsDNF! Did you mount a light in your die holder handle??? Ha!

Can't wait to see what it is!!

Dan.

EDIT.... I sure like the wear marks on that metal. You cannot mfg character like that!

That’s what I thought it was too… But all this talk about a bike pedal has me confused…
A bike pedal would only have one arm coming off…

She already is but spends the extra cash on her PTL.

You guys are quick. I just woke up and identified the optic and puzzle solved before I finish my jo.

I’d never find the low mode, going backwards and stopping all the time.

Don’t let my 5 year old see it, you’d never get it back!

high powered foot warmer and “please don’t hit me at a junction” light?

If what I read about what it is is correct, then no it won’t be. Because it would illuminate out the side(well if it’s floody enough the road) and would be very useful. Highlighting the area around the biker so that people in cars can better see them.

More pictures added to the first post. We also have a winner. If they would like to announce themselves they can otherwise they will remain anonymous.

I think I guessed first. Yay. After seeing more pictures, it really is a cool light. Looks like something a gladiator would use in the arena, cestes like.

That is an interesting light fo sho. If it was “able” to be mounted on the bike like that it’d be great for trail riding too. Far from useless in that way since it can also be used as a self defense light LOL. That would hurt like a mofo.

looking at it from another angle, yes you would be right. I will rename it.

pretty interesting, but i think it would have been cooler if you have just used a brand new pedal instead.

Now that was a neat idea! I like the light... but I REALLY like the character in the metal of the used pedal.

Yep... I often wish I would just turn and walk away from STUFF! It keeps me in a lot of trouble.

NICE WORK! Dan.

You want me to buy something? I'm a scrounger from way back.

Thanks Texas. It was one of them ones that you get half way through and you start to wonder what on earth are you doing you old fool.

It's, It's............. Ummmm.....

Are you back off the maintenance drugs again? You know what happens when you do that.Surprised

Great knuckle buster to carry to the local bar.

That's it! Sell it to Schwinns angels riders as a replacement for brass knuckles. You could make money on that.

Well, I would say "Been There"... but if I tell the truth.... it would be.... "Live There!" Ha!

Thats a daily...hourly thought for me!! Nice work!! Dan.

Once you stop and ask yourself what you’re doing, do you ever then find yourself going even further out of the way in the attempt to actually make it better? Come on now?! Gotta salvage all the work already done right? And save face? See, tol you I could! Braggin rights and all that, with only 17 hours spent on a 45 minute project.

Not that I would know anything about that at all.

!!

Took hours to make this tiny lil T6061 Reflector for this Ti light that’s the size of an SD card in your camera. Now I have no idea how to attach it! The light is 2 halves with magnets inserted so it split’s open with a thumbnail to change the button cell battery. How do I put this on without killing the opening ability?

Then, to add more hours labor to an already expensive little light, I decided the button needed to be replaced.

!!

So I found this Opal from Brazil, bored out the back for a pink Trit, and created a SS pad to epoxy it to so it’d stay in place. I admit, this one works and looks pretty cool, it even glows through a TShirt in the dark of night. Nice lil target smack in the middle of the chest.

Why did I do this again?

You saved me! I just may not be as bad off as I thought I was!! Ha! This is like having a limp... You're always seeing someone that is worse... or better off, depending on which way you look at it. Some of us are just totally addicted to working with our hands!!

Sometimes I almost get well... then some other danged addicted fool... LIKE YOU!!!.... comes along and makes me think.... "Just how hard would it be to build a light out of some Brazilian Agate I have..." SO... You DIDN'T save me!!!

Thanks for sharing! i think.... Dan.
