XM-L T6 NW 1x18650 two group 3/5 mode Xiaozhi flashlight

http://www.fancyflashlights.com/goods.php?id=551

Please note I am selling the NEUTRAL version.

Pretty much brand new condition. Only inserted battery, lubed it, and ran maybe 5 minutes total. Very little use. No surface flaws. Nothing wrong with it at all. Ordered around New Year… got a little carried away with too many orders. Now this guy needs to go to someone that will actually give him some use.

Paid $18 for it, but took forever to arrive from Singapore. Asking $20 shipped. Shipping will cost me about $3-5 so I am still taking a small loss, not making profit. Will ship as soon as paypal clears so you don’t have to wait!

2.8A driver? Are you in the US?

-Garry

Yessir, East Coast [if that matters].

Not sure about the driver. I can tell you its original. Ashamed to admit, but don’t even have a DMM.

yes its 2.8a

buy this gary its an ace little light

Ok, in the specs it lists 2.3A even though the picture shows "8x7135" which is 2.8A (with the 350mA AMC's). Same thing on the CNQG site. I'm not sure I like the mode spacing at 5%-15%-100% though. I'd have to think about it. Anyone else feel free to jump on in.

Funny, I was just today considering getting one of these with the Int'l Outdoor clip to try out for EDC.

-Garry

want me to check mine? I’ve never had an issue with the spacing

Sure gords. Tailcap readings on Low-Med-High and general comparison of beam brightness between them (high to med esp.). No need to pop the driver out.

-Garry

Yeah it’s not a bad light at all garry. I didn’t notice spacing was off, but barely used it so better to hear from Gords probly.

C'mon gords! What's taking you so long! :)

-Garry

napping in his van? :stuck_out_tongue:

He probably had to excuse himself from the dinner table (what time is it over there?) to go out to his van where his tools are to work out there. :)

EDIT - Ah, your only 4 hours ahead of me (dinner time). For some reason I was thinking England was 6 hours ahead of my time zone.

-Garry

I had to pull up, get james’ s passport sorted and do some shopping.

its difficult taking tailcap readings doing 70mph when your meters in the back of the van……

anyway

difference is noticable between modes.

it does get warm on high but as I keep mime memory low, its been no issue as low covers 90% of tasks.

TomE got some good test results on his with it scoring highest lumens of the edc lights he tested.

Both myself and Jack the clipper cannot recommend this light enough.

And JacktheClipper will be buying this light fairly quickly if no one jumps on it .

Ok, so that computes to 100% -> 48% -> 4%. Good enough.

Back off Jack! :)

PM incoming.

-Garry

excuses excuses Gords!

PM sent Garry.

Sorry Jack, if he backs out its yours.

commission?

Your efforts were much appreciated! Thank you! Think of doing it "for the good of the BLF community".

-Garry

checks in the mail govnah!

{not really, sorry}

oh well, was worth an ask.

seriously Gary, you wont be disappointed in this little light, its nothing short if awesome.

This is the easily-programmable one, yes? I’ve been tempted to get one so I can play with its firmware… and maybe mount it in a custom-made water fountain for use as a strobe light.

I’m kinda thinking of doing a scaled-down indoor version of this, using a strobe light instead of a fast camera exposure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uENITui5_jU

However, it’d also be fun to just have a handheld adjustable strobe light. I’d probably need an electronic switch so I could more easily adjust the flash rate though, so this host wouldn’t work well for that purpose. Perhaps a UF-T50 or Fandyfire Rook would be re-flashable?
