It’s your hard earned money and though we would like you to buy from us, if you can get a better deal you should. Illumination Supply doesn’t just simply retail common products, but also carries some unique items and hopes the ease of transaction and customer service brings customers to our store. I wish I felt as benevolent about stuff like that. It really bothers me when people post a random ebay listing and publicly ask a reputable seller/authorized dealer to beat or match the price. Nevermind that the ebay seller can't match the shipping time or customer service, and is more likely to ship an item with quality issues*. Stuff like that shouldn't be done publicly. If you're gonna do it, at least have the courtesy to do it over PM.

*the ebay seller linked was altatac, the same seller that was clearancing out those PA40 a while back, many of which turned out to be defective.

There are some missing technical details. Like the power consumption of the LED strings. Lumen output per LED would be nice too. What is the acceptable voltage range for the control board. The description of “Supports strips and pixels that run at 5v, 5.1v, 10.6v, 12v and 24v without modification.” isn’t exactly clear. What voltage are the strings you’re selling?

I’m the designer of the PixelPusher, and I can answer your questions.

The power consumption of the LED strings depends on which strings you use. We have some which are 12 watts per metre at 5v and we also sell LED pixels which are about 1.2 watts per pixel at 12v.

Our description of supporting strips that run at various different voltages is actually pretty straightforward- a PixelPusher can be used with pixels and strips that require all of those voltages by setting jumpers appropriately. There is an onboard linear regulator which produces the necessary voltages for the microprocessor, ethernet interface, USB port and buffer system from any input voltage between 4.5 volts and approximately 35 volts, depending on your jumper settings. The input power can also be passed directly through to the strips with no dropout voltage.
