Review: Black Shadow Terminator 4*U3/4*18650

Also budget.

I’m really starting to like small lights that are very bright. I have been a big fan of throw but I’m starting to gravitate to a more floody, really bright light. Thinking of a few right now. Nitecore TM15, Nitecore TM26, Fenix TK75. Mostly multiple 18650 battery lights. Price isn’t really a big deal right now for me so I can pretty much get what I want. Doesn’t even have to be a light I will be using a lot. Just something that might be fun to have around and to show my friends. I’m for sure going to buy a Olight SR95UT.

In that case there is only one I'd insist you consider. The Zebralight S6330

That one is on my list.

Yes the S6300 is very impressive for how small it is. Here is a link to mine.

i like the new zebra light - but i am waiting for them to do an xml2 light

i love the zebralight ui

Well…Curiosity got the better of me and I just had to know since I was planning to use it somewhere wet. I tried dunking the light into a pail of water to find out, good thing I had half a brain to take out the batteries and use distilled water. I saw bubbles coming from the handle’s mounting point and quickly took it out of the water. Upon inspection, I was amazed by how much water had gone in with the brief amount of time underwater. I disassembled everything, tail-cap, contacts board, heads, lens, reflectors and found out that water came in from the mounting point into the hole where the wires of the switch goes into the body. I dried the components with a hair dryer and used a microfiber cloth for the heads, lens, and just the outside of the reflectors for fear that I might scratch them. After everything was dry and leaving it open for 2days, I reassembled, put in batteries and it fired right up. As far as I can tell, there is no damage to the light and it’s components. Brightness and function is still the same after comparing it to my other terminator.

Since nothing bad happened to your Term, so the squid rings still taste just as good as before! haha

LOL! Yeah…I also got a TK75 and that thing is waterproof

So what are your impressions on hotspot, spill on both lights?

I’d just like to confirm to everyone that this Nitecore holster is a PERFECT fit for the Terminator.
Also, at $10 delivered it’s good value as it’s a very well made holster.
Doing Outdoor Nitecore Holster

Any chance we can get a pic of the Terminator inside the holster from the front and side?

Yeah man…

Sorry, not very good at this caper, so my images are a funky size.

I’m particularly impressed with this holster because the base of the torch fits perfectly into the base of the holster, so no baggy bits. The neck of the holster around the torch is perfect. Tight enough to need a wee wiggle just to coax it in, but not that tight you need 2 hands. Also, my favourite bit lol, the velco strips marry-up perfectly too! No rubbish overlaps!

THanks for the quick pic posting. I may have to get one of these for mine. It looks and fits really nice! 8)

Ordered! Thanks a bunch, Denbuc!

No problem squire
You’re as fast at ordering as I can be with photos sometimes haha
Oh yeah, and just so you know, mine took 1 day from ordering to dispatch, then only another 10 days to get to Scotland. Pretty impressive

Good to know. I’ve never ordered from them before and was wondering how long it might take.

Oh, and they only have 4 left now so I figured if I don't act quickly they will be gone after everyone else sees how nice it fits the Terminator. :p

Word will indeed spread fast, I’m going to check at bed-time and see if they’ve all gone.

Thanks denbuc ordered one aswell.By the way i took the handle off mine and sealed the hole where the wires from switch enter head ,used non acetic silicone.

No bother jakey.
Nice tip about the handle joint. Might get me some sealant and do that too.
