Fandyfire.. the clone of the clone?

On DX new arrivals there's some FANDYFIRE. Seems they are P6 host. They're very similar to Ultrafire but they are cheaper (some dollars).

So we can say it's CLONE WARS?

Including the real meaning of 'fandy' https://budgetlightforum.com/t/-/1806

That bunch of 501's and 502's look like low cost track into the joys of R2 emitters.

There are quite a few FandyFire items poping up, batteries and lights.

This is a rather good looking new p60 host.

Not buying one just because of the name.

But, but it's a flashlight............and only gets used in the dark

Yeah shame about that light - it's cheap and looks like it uses the same screw in brass pills as a p60.

I'm with Budget, nice light but the name is a deal killer. In fact, many, many Chinese lights suffer from similar name train wrecks.

Foy

Me too. It's way too close to FANYfire.

I'm thinking one could cover up an undesirable name with some

cut -to -size reflective tape ...

Or, if you are me, duct tape.

You can probably get rid of most of the offending workd on a black light with a good permanent marker. :)

I usually add some sort of eye-catching lanyard or reflective material to my lights in case I lose them in the grass . Several times I have had to search for one light with another . 3M reflective tape works well .
