BLF Edition ThruNite Saber 1A Group Buy - $19.99

I just got a reply back from them.

Yes it has the same lumen output on 1.2 and 1.5v

R5 1C

Geez, first the Archer, now this! But I feel obligated to get a “BLF” edition… Ordered placed!

Thank you ezarc

I’ll eat my words from my t10 review: “I think this would be a great deal $15 and a good deal at $20.” I’m in for the Saber at $20.

I already placed the order. It will be my first BLF Edition.

Definitely a nice torch… I think I will get one!
first have to read up on a review.

Thanks to this thread, my wallet slimmed down again

My main motivation behind ordering is more on the BLF logo rather than the light. I’m very sure many of us had enough lights. I like BLF, so I ordered. Cheers!

If you have a Facebook account and click “Like” on Thrunite’s page you will see they are advertising the Saber 1A as a group buy. I just bought this light, great deal.

Great deal
Same light with a 30-40 lm medium and I would have bought

Nice that there is a BLF-edition, pity (but I would have been surprised) that it does not have different ('BLF-enhanced') features from the stock light though. I'll pass on this one, I have a nice AA twisty already.

(I did buy the archer from the group buy )

Just ordered .

Ordered one too.

OMG-how do I resist? It looks so tiny.

I am so weak….

it had BLF on it, could not help myself

I know someone brought up whether this light supports 14500s and the answer was yes but there could be damage done because of the extra heat generated.

The question I have is for those who might already own the light: have you used 14500s and what has been your experience?

Thanks!

Am I correct in assuming the only reason you would ever want to try this is that it would be a lot brighter than the 169 lumun?

They alreaydy sold 50 pcs, I had to get one before they run out

Couldn’t resist ordering one. Needed a good AA light.

Batt rattling when the light is off? How does the mem works?

Ditto. If this was a unique BLF edition with some kind of enhanced function I would buy. For now, my trusty T10 will do.
