No. Even if drastically bored - though it might just be possible with an early D cell Mag without an initial D in its serial number. Easy way to check if you have an old one is to make a bundle of 3 18650s and hold them together with a rubber band. This will not work with a recent D mag. I've tried.
Darn. I wish there was a manafont or DX corner hardware store (outside of KH) where you could go buy parts and play with what's interchangeable and what is not.
Having to wait 6 weeks to find out sort of takes the fun out of it.
