Dear BLF members,
sorry for my english
I hope the pictures linked from TLF are visible
now I will try to the promised review.
I compare the BLF Mini with Mini-02 (ReyLight)
Here, the two minis with their nearest relatives. Are just a little bit shy, the little ones
my first impression was:
1st
chic, much fancier than on any picture that I have ever seen. In paintings, she looks plump, and they appear less elegant than the BLF Mini.
Which is not so.
2nd
in thickness, it has increased strongly. Now it is a heavy piece of precious metal in your hand.
The wall thickness of the head is easy to detect. Also be seen in direct comparison: The drivers are 100% compatible
3rd
the weight has increased
4th
in length was allowed to stretch a bit, thus it is also easier to handle.
5th
The build quality is much better, a picture of the key ring holder as an example
6th
In the area of the lens and the corresponding O-ring of the head has been significantly increased.
The increased head and visibly slimmer refector
In this picture you can see well, the depth of the reflector.
What I did not like: (easily correctable things)
1st
The thread is too tight
More on that later!
2nd
hmmm
3rd
hmmmmm
4th
nothing more found
the dimensions and weights:
BLF Mini:
Length: 63 mm including the ring holder
Diameter: 20.5 mm
Weight without battery: 41 gr
Weight with battery: 59 gr
TLF “Little Bonny”
Length: 68 mm including the ring holder
Diameter: 20.5 mm
Weight without battery: 47 gr
Weight with battery: 66 gr
That’s more than 10% weight gain, which can see and feel to each component.
size comparison
The intrinsic values (compared to the BLF-mini):
1st The wall thickness was more than doubled
2nd the inner diameter has been reduced. The diameter is 16.8 mm.
The TrustFire TF16340 protected fits in well, without jamming.
The battery does not come out alone. The battery is measured via the protective conductor: 16.6 mm
Goliath … the little one is stronger than the force of gravity
And now we come to operate the lamp:
As already mentioned, the thread has trouble.
to change that only silicone grease is needed.
Lovingly greased the thread performs its work smoothly.
To operate with a battery-protected, the bias of the spring should be reduced.
The thread then works much better
Here is a picture of the springs.
The inscription on the lamp is wrong, that will be changed in the labeling as described by Rey.
The lettering of the other side
Conclusion:
a great little lamp that has exceeded all my expectations.
The quality is significantly better than the Mini-01
The driver pulls nearly 1.7A with full battery on high, that should be something around 500lm.
The modes can be switched neatly
there is a short flash when switching from high for lo.
The quality is really good
The Mini-02 machining is executed really clean
In this picture you can see the rings. Because I’m having trouble recognizing colors, here is neither a white balance has been made, nor have I tried to capture the color of light.
In real terms, there is a white light but not painful
the light with the smooth reflector and reduced outlet opening, floodiger than expected, which really surprised me.
To see which light image is made, I have briefly illuminated the garden. The setting of the camera is identical in both pictures.
I hope that the quality is sufficient for comparison.
Freehand Beam Shot on High with the “Little Bonny” with cw LED. Battery has 3.8 volts

BTW it looks like the first post got screwed up, it looked fine earlier so something must have changed.
I was looking at the trustfire mini 02’s anyways, loosing that strobe mode and some better spacing would be nice.
is there a difference between the BLF driver and the regular driver?
i’m very sorry, i wrote wrong.
