Looks ideal for a boaties 'grab bag'.

Pros:

- easier to find in your grab bag than a grey or black anodised one

- looks really sturdy (is it?) maybe waterproof

- it might run also on a 18650

Cons:

- can probably not be upgraded because of poor heatsinking

- will stain very fast

- is a wee bit to expensive

- they don't say anything about the LED, keep in mind, they probably consider a generic 5mm LED is already a high power LED.

The suffer from the same problem as the G2 surefire. They have a metal sleeve inside the polymer that makes the contact between head and tail. The sleeve is thin enough that it cannot be bored out for an 18650.

I was just guessing the temptation was coming from the fact you are lusting for it .. pretty dang deep concept I know .
