Hmm, actually, thatās not what the SPAM button is for. But at any rate, CalvinIS contacted me, which is the correct way to handle problems with posts that arenāt unsolicited commercial advertising.
As for everyone else, a quick word of caution: Just because information is available on the internet doesnāt mean that itās necessarily public domain. We have to be careful with claims and accusations, because BLF has pretty high search ranking and a LOT of visitors. So anything that is posted is bound to be read and possibly misused or misconstrued. Thanks!
Iām not taking sides here, but as the registered address of a business it is not ājust your parentsā residence is it. And Iām sure Google Maps street view and others will have a photo of the location and I suspect they wonāt remove their copy.
on the Gelman folum the dealers/sellers/manufacturers/staff do it all the time and the Gemans applaud their review efforts, for example reviews by these 6 well-known dealers:
Iām a bit confused due to all the different topics covered:
1: Is Thruniteās POP (Point of Presence) in the USA Illumination Supply? (Their website appears to still carry that information, perhaps they have not updated it?)
2: Illumination Supply is a business operated out of someoneās Parentās house?
POP arrangements are common practice and nothing wrong with that as it can facilitate drop-shipping, nor is there anything wrong with running a home based business, just looking for clarity as I got a bit lost amongst the doughnuts, squirrels, and other background noise.
Perhaps that is why your home address is more exposed than you seem to have realized. It popped right up at me as soon as I looked on their site after I first saw this thread:
They are being sold as though they are perhaps baked, when in fact they are deep fried. Not very healthy. Try putting a donut in the microwave sometime, see if you ever want to eat another.
