Really Bright Stuff: DBCstm:I’m a photographer and I use Really Right Stuff photography equipment. Interesting spin-off of their name.
They make their own photography equipment right? And there’s only 1 place to get it - their website if I am not wrong. -Steven
Really BRight Stuff
Initially I thought they started making flashlights, but it’s just a spin-off.
Yes, guess if they started making flashlights it would be something really, really different
-Steven
Really Bright Stuff:Overpriced?
Hmm we always sell at MAP (Minimum Advertised Pricing) according to our suppliers. If there are other dealers undercutting this pricing, there is not much we can do about it. The onus would be on Sunwayman to rein in these errant sellers.
-Steven
We love errant sellers on BLF, and detest manufacturers who try to “rein in” these dealers.
Haha maybe that’s why they don’t make their efforts that apparent
Anyway it’s not called ‘budget light forum’ without a reason
We will be adding value to your purchase based on other areas besides price then =)
This will most probably take place after we upload most of our available selection
Update We have received our first registered customer despite our mediocre selection and high prices H) !

"Really, really different" is not that far from what they do. Their products are mainly machined (CNC) aircraft aluminum with then they anodize everything, so this is really close to flashlights. They miss the electronics, but that can be very easily outsourced.
Steven, just a word of caution hehe … Bill/Andy (doingoutdoor.com) got erased off this forum because of arguable spamming, which i was not aware of. To me, he seemed like a normal flashaholic who participated in all kinds of threads and i liked it. Likable guy, likable presence. But somehow some other people did not appreciate that this Far Eastern dealer did not limit himself to the Commercial Sellers’ Spot.
On CPF, dealers are allowed to open threads on CPFMP but not on CPF proper. Here too, any posting action by a dealer/seller in any BLF thread could be regarded as concealed spam unless the post is done in the Commercial Sellers’ Spot.
Take care, Good bless Amelica, kreisl
When did this happen? Pending my first order goes well(should be here today), I enjoyed doing business with them. I PMed for a deal and got a deal on their already good prices.
When did this happen?
nothing happened by now
peace

Hi,
I think it was discussed here:
Looks like I can’t read all his post. Is he banned?

Jim
Thanks, I searched and read the whole thing. It’s a shame…

Alright thanks for your advice. No reason to worry here though as I mostly read through the posts and not participate.
Except probably on this thread =)

…JEEZ!!!
…WTF…………. whats with all the quoting??
It’s a byproduct of Kreisler’s habit to delete what he wrote and wreck the flow of the thread forcing other to quote quotes to bring back any hint of sense to the discussion, he apparently thrive in being a nuisance to others and obviously love having the power to cause disturbance.
RBS is not spamming, there's a lot of official spamming on other threads.
Well whatever the case I will try not to spam… =)
Will be uploading new products today~

Just a small update. Our webstore @ Really Bright Stuff is not yet fully ready but we are looking to get it fully functional by the end of this month.
Our sister store Fstop Lights (http://www.fstoplights.com) is holding a Sunwayman Sale currently and there are plenty of new recently arrived items in-stock.
If you are a member in this forum, you can get a discount off your order by entering the coupon code ‘L2I94N5N94’ upon checkout.
The coupon code ‘IY75C2M4F9R’ is eligible for our MagicShine Intro-Sale!
Best Regards,
Steven
Post your best deal here and I will think about checking your store, the last time was wasted time and a big disappointment….
Our webby for RBS has been updated and will soon include plenty more stuff =)
We are also having a sale over at Fstop Lights (http://www.fstoplights.com/gss-specials/) so you might want to take a peek over there if you have time
-Steven
I took a peek and the prices didn’t look to be enticing at all. Everything seems to be listed at MSRP or higher. Is there some special code to get better prices?
I see there some code from before, but I don’t see where to enter the code to check how much of a discount I would get. Maybe I have to register before I see the code, which is something I don’t really want to do just to see the discount.
Overpriced like I said, after the thread started.
And I say that again so that nobody needs to check their store.

Is it overpriced in terms of the brands and products involved?
Or just overpriced in relation to other brands?
Hmm we price our products at Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) according to our manufacturers so I don’t see anything wrong there. We are not looking at budget brands per se

Haha MSRP not equals to MAP. Its more of MAP actually as the MSRP is higher still.
You could be referring to the EagleTac products so I will be removing the MSRP pricing soon and leaving the MAP there.
Will be posting up some (permanent) discount codes soon for this forum =)
And yes I will state the discount given
Best Regards,
Steven
