BLF LED Database - Collaboration Spreadsheet - Share latest news about where to buy LEDs

The ones from intl-outdoor have always had that description. Seems to be good stuff based on description and pics!
The ones I and MosesM were talking about are from LCK-LED.
I see when reading my last post it could easily look like I was talking about the copper PCBs from intl-outdoor.
Sorry about not making that more clear, my mistake.

BTW, Hank from intl-outdoor contacted me the other day. Offered me two pcs (pre-production samples XM-L) for being a good customer!
I have never gotten anything for free (except that one cheapo flashlight from banggood for signing up to their site)!
He asked If I could review them, but I said I did not have the equipment (light meter) to do a proper review vs (alu) vs Sinkpads.
I mentioned Match or Tom E could be recommended people for the job. There are probably several others who are up for the task too.
If some people on this forum have the ability to to a good technical review they could maybe contact Hank from intl-outdoor for some pre-production samples? (not sure if he have many though)
I will probably have to wait for the final-production for free samples. But if he decides to send me some, Ill take some good close-up pictures and share what I can share.

Would be nice to see a comparison though. Sinkpads vs. Noctigon vs the ones from LCK-LED vs standard aluminium.

Thanks Race. Congrats on the free cu. Since you’ve been following Match & Tom E’s sinkpad lux threads, you can just as easily conduct your own tests if you have a lux meter. I dont know if its been posted before, but Ive often wondered what the lux differences might be in a typical C8 size/weight host with lapped cu vs lapped al after a 5-10 minute +3A sustained burn. Although interesting, the 30 second comparisons dont have much value to me.

Thanks… Ill have to wait for the final production to get some. Ill probably order some on top of that anyway… :stuck_out_tongue:
Ill consider buying a light meter. Could be useful in some circumstances, but not really sure if I would end up bother using it much.

Agree, a 5-10min comparison run in a C8 sized host would be useful to see too.

LCK-LED have droped their price on XP-G2s
Only 4$ (down from 4.65:money_mouth_face:

XP-G2 R5 Warm white it's not possible I suggest anyone to read CREE datasheets, not to believe anything is written.

I think this year will be the year of ridiculousness, all companies will sell LEDs and anyone will just have to trust their titles.

In that case, people could just check the spreadsheet since I have mailed LCK-LED about it. (info earlier in this thread)
In the spreadsheet you can read:
Comment: “Confirmed 7D tint in mail, no info on BIN.”
BIN: R3?

R5 A1 is confirmed for cool white.

HEY!!!
WHO MESSED UP THE XP-G2 sheet again? I have fixed it two times before??? Exactly the same mess now as the other times… Anyone know??

Edit: I have now fixed it

XP-G2 R5-1A $2.86

Assuming automatically the highest BIN for 7D means nothing real, in the same order of ideas you can speculate is a very low BIN since it's "not known".

I hope the confirmation was not A1 for the cool white since there only exists 1A.

Your list seems a bit off, I can't these discounted ones in your list http://intl-outdoor.com/index.php?main_page=specials

Thanks for putting it in the list!

Hope Fasttech get NW and others too!

LCK-LED have now gotten XPG-2 NW in several sizes. 4$ (cheapest price) Im waiting for confirmation on BIN/TINT before I add them.

Hikelite, I have not assumed anything. I have just written “R3?” so that when people sort the sheet for bin they get everything in order… Its better having something then nothing. Comment says, no info on bin. Its better to put in a value then to have it empty, easier to sort that way (and yes, some are empty).

The XM-L2 is already added. Feel free to add the other ones. Its not my list. This is a collaboration spreadsheet. Everybody contribute! I just happen to do lots of updates. But I cant keep track on everything and do all the work myself. Find all special deals. Check sites weekly etc… So feel free to contribute! The more people who work on it, the better and more useful the spreadsheet will be to everybody!

Why not use the flashlight wiki for this?

What exactly are you thinking?

Update:
Added XP-G2 NW, with 5A tint. 4$
That should be somewhere in the area around 4200k.

Tint was confirmed on mail. No info on bin.

FastTech added some possibly copper MCPCBs in 20mm & 16mm.

edit
Oh yea, thanks for the great LED database spreadsheet!

Nice helios…
Fasttech description said brass yesterday, but now it say copper!

It looks to be precisely the same product that LCK-LED sell. Now, if people wonder what product I am talking about. Just check the MCPCB sheet!

oh, yeah… !!

Added MCPCB sheet!
Added lots of copper stuff. Everybody, feel free to add your favourite boards. I have added some various multi emitter boards…

MCPCB sheet Awesome!

And wow, I thought it would take longer for FastTech to check & test those copper stars. They did it on Saturday evening even.
Really hope they keep up their customer service & don’t let it slip after they become well established.

Hey guys, not sure if it's not common knowledge, but we do offer quantity discounts on some of our bare LEDs like XP-E2 R3 1D, XM-L2 U2 1C, XM-L2 T6 3C. BLFUser coupon code is also active :)

Thanks Calvin!
I was not aware of the coupon code, and I am sure I was not the only one! I have added it to the information page. Is it 5% off from anything, always?

I have not changed quantity discount to yes, since that is more of a general store thing, and it needs to work for 5 items or less.

You don’t have any “inside” information about copper MCPBCs do you??

I am not sure what the forum rules says, since this thread is not in the commercial area. But I would certainly not mind if dealers updated special deals or even added some of their products…

5% discount code is not stackable and does not apply to clearance items and specific special projects like the PixelPusher, X60L3. In regards to copper MCPCBs, we have a current project we are working on with direct thermal copper boards. If I had the time I would edit the doc directly :P

Someone messed up the first page… Same type of mess that have happened to various other pages in the past… I cant bother to fix it right now. Could it be a format thing or something??

I have noticed that Fancyflashlight (and CNQG) have gotten NW XP-G2 back in stock. This time its 5A tint (4200k). No info on bin…
