IS Promotions: Rayus C01 / PT10 Series Intro [8/28]

Zebralight claims they have begun shipping out dealer stock, however we haven't received a notice yet. My best guess is they will be coming in the following week. We will also be putting up a pre-order/introductory promotion soon and a manufacturer-wide discount code to help with the waiting :)

Hi,

I appreciate the response! I know that you can’t make ’em out of thin air :)…

Thanks,
Jim

Thanks mate, you got my business if you have the best price! You got me a great price on the SC52 and I expect you’ll look after us again, thanks!

I’d like to put my name on a ZL SC600 MKII as well  Subscribed for notification of the pre-order signup!!!

-Jamie M.

Zebralight SC600MKII Pre-order is now live, we have also decided to make a general Zebralight coupon code, use ZebraStripes during checkout for a discount on all Zebralight lights! Please note our best estimate on when these lights will be in stock would be next week. Zebralight is notorious for postponed deliveries however…

The SC600MKII is Zebralight’s much awaited 18650 900 lumen upgrade. Please also note the color is usually different from Zebralight’s promotional material and is likely going to be lighter IMO.

Oops, it's late for me. Fixed :)

Yes, shipping cost I did notice, $13, bit disappointing :frowning:

Yep, working now…thanks. Might hold off on my order though…

I'm aware of the ridiculous USPS postage cost, I'll see if I can work on a special international deal tomorrow morning.

Please note that nowadays(!) amazon.com marketplace dealers who fulfill thru amazon.com ship with DHL Global Mail, and not with USPS International. Any consignment shipped with DHL Global Mail (books, CDs, letters, packages, parcel, etc) are fully trackable thru trackitonline.ru or http://webtrack.dhlglobalmail.com/

DHL Global Mail is a product for US businesses by the US division of Germany-owned DHL. Get pricing from here:

Good luck!!

hey guys i got my sc52 yesterday - what a phenomenal light! i dont know how i survived for so long without one haha

i have never seen such good deals on zebralights - i decided to jump on the sc52 deal after seeing a used one sell for MORE than illumination supply was offering for new - im glad i did!

might have to pick up a sc600 at some point well see

Absolutely love my SC52 as well, got mine from IS. It’s a floody little bugger, considering it’s about the size of an index finger!
Considering the SC600 MkII is only 20mm longer, and double the brightness (well, almost) it’s a no brainer for me. Hopefully IS can organise something for shipping. I’d buy one immediately if he waved the shipping costs

I’m glad to see you have the H51 listed now, since I consider it the most useful torch on the market, but its product details seem to be half pasted from the H502 and half from the H51.

Also very tempted by the SC600mkII, but I think ZL needs to modify their UI a bit to accommodate easier access to more levels on their brightest lights… would really like to see them change the UI to this:

High

  • H1 900Lm for the first 5 min and then step down to 500Lm
  • H2 500Lm
  • H3 270Lm
  • H4 strobe

Medium

  • M1 90Lm
  • M2 27Lm

Low

  • L1 9Lm
  • L2 2.7Lm

Firefly

  • F1 0.9Lm
  • F2 0.27Lm
  • F3 0.09Lm

Levels would rotate with a double click, like F3 -> F2 -> F1 -> F3, with no need to double-click a bunch of times first to enter a programming mode. Otherwise the UI would remain the same, with press+hold going up through primary levels from lowest to highest, and off->clicks going through primary modes from highest to lowest. The battery check would require five clicks instead of four.

The point of making this change is to make all levels more accessible without the need to space levels farther apart. ~3X increase per level seems about right, but it’s not as useful when one must click 14 to 18 times to switch between adjacent sublevels (which is how their current UI works). I hope nobody wants to switch between 9 and 27 lumens, or between 0.6 and 0.1lm, because it’s rather a pain.

OTOH, I’m fine with leaving the UI as-is for the high modes, because I don’t actually want the 500lm or strobe settings… Their current UI lets me pretend those don’t exist, and only use 900 and 270.

WOOT!!! Ordered Zebralight SC600MKII

Can’t wait! I charged up my Panasonic 3400’s in anticipation

Put me down for the warm one when available!!

-Jamie M.

Looking over the numbers our margins on Zebralight are already not that high. The best I could do for international customers is to use the current coupon code, then I will manually refund shipping costs by $5. If you place an order from a valid international address, leave a comment during orders saying so. Sorry I couldn't do more :(

Thanks for the heads up, I looked over the description and modified it.

You sure they’ll fit? Cell must be less than 68mm…mine aren’t

LICK HERE FOR HIGH RES!

Maybe yours are button top? ZL shows a flat top battery in their pic of the SC600MKII so that’s what I ordered

EDIT: Found out. Mine are unprotected flattop = 65.0 mm official spec length: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001980/1141100-panasonic-ncr18650b-rechargeable-3400mah-37v-18650
Protected button top = 69.4 mm: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/10001980/1141104-panasonic-ncr18650b-protected-rechargeable-3400mah

-Jamie M.

The reason I thought they wouldn’t fit is because I have protected Panny 3400’s, and they are long arse, button top cells.
I’m not surprised yours are 65mm if they are flat top unprotecteds.

Woot! So happy mine will fit and work! YAY!

You know you can cut the protection off the top of your cells so they fit right? My friend had to do that with his so they’d work in his sc600.

And OMG love these panasonic 3400’s, the are absolute MONSTERS!

-Jamie M.

I have 4 in my black SRK, it’s pretty unreal
